The Retreat Cabin on the Lake at Marmutt Woods

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

This family-size, fully-enclosed suite with a separate entrance from the host's attached house offers all the comforts of home within 15 min. of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and premier outdoor experiences- hiking, biking, fishing, boating. Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. The entire suite space is yours.

Small but cozy apartment like setting. Fresh modern updates give you the outdoors feel that Northern WI provides, as well as the modern feel that many enjoy. The living room provides you with a comfortable couch to relax, with a lake view. A full sized deck to relax on. One bedroom provides you with the typical bed/dresser setup for a great night of sleep. While the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed (2 single beds), it also doubles as a office space which you can do your work while away from home.

Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). ski Granite Peak. Hike the Ice Age Trail. If you are looking for a little getaway, check out this beautiful cabin. Located on the Jersey Flowage (Tomahawk River) Just mins from Downtown Tomahawk, Lake Nokomis, and Lake Mohawksin, across the street from Halfmoon Lake. All utilities are included in your rental price, even Wi-Fi. Completely furnished w/ 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, TV, charcoal or gas grill, spacious kitchen and living room, dock, v-haul boat lift, kayaks, paddle boat, fire pit. ATV and snowmobile trails nearby.

(Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂

KING'S COTTAGE

King’s Cottage is located in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, the perfect place for outdoor adventures any time of the year. Hikers and bikers can enjoy routes like the Bearskin Trail. Kayakers and canoers can explore nearby lakes and waterways. Guests can explore Oneida County’s vast lakes and winter enthusiasts will find easy access to great trails for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The cottage is located on 235 acres with two spring-fed lakes.
