We loved our stay. The view from the screened in porch was beautiful. My boys have been asking to kayak and we were able to let them experience it. The location was great for going into town while being able to stay in a natural setting.

This place is absolutely beautiful and perfect location! It’s a short drive to downtown. My kids wanted to stay here most of the time to fish and swim in the Cane River. The hosts are easy and great to communicate with! Thanks again for a great stay!

this place is an absolute gem, peaceful with picture perfect views!! we could have spent our entire stay sitting on the porch looking out over the water and cypress trees. the house is beautiful, well laid out and had everything we could possibly need. Chad and Tisha were responsive and checked to make sure we were having a great stay!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great weekend celebrating the wedding of our son and new daughter-in-law! Their wedding officiant and came to the house for the ceremony which they did right out on the dock. It was a beautiful setting for photos. We loved the house - everything was so clean and comfortable. The porch swing was lovely - a few more good rocking chairs would be great so everything can enjoy the comfort and beauty of the views from the porch. We loved the firepit and the availability of camp chairs to all sit around it. The dining room table was perfect for playing cards and enjoying meals together. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

We spent Thanksgiving week here. We absolutely loved the quiet road, beautiful lake, and lots of marsh-mellows around the camp fire! Can’t wait to stay again.

Loved the area and the home. For being an old house it is very taken care of. Jerry was very informative and made sure we had everything we needed the duration of our stay.

Staying at the Cane River Cabin was truly a highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, Lonny made us feel right at home with thoughtful touches and excellent communication throughout. The cabin itself is a gem — cozy, spotless, and beautifully situated by the river, offering the perfect mix of peace and natural beauty. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the water and taking in the views. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. Lonny clearly puts a lot of care into making the space warm and welcoming. We’re already talking about coming back — highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the serenity of nature!
