Original 1990 settler Cottage situated in a Native Bush Setting close to small creek. Tui and Bell Birds abound and a feeder is set up on the deck from where you can sit and watch them feed. Wake up to the dawn chorus. The Cottage is very private, set a short (5 minute) walk from owners house. Property is on a hill situated in 70 acres with Protea Plantings, Native Bush and lots of tracks to explore. Hosts happy to drive guests up to cottage if their vehicles are not suitable. Off Grid.

It’s a private country location but has every modern convenience and is just 17km from the town of Twizel. By day, explore the Mackenzie Region then soak in a private wood-fired hot tub, under the dazzling stars in a dark sky reserve! It’s 50-minutes to Mt Cook or Tekapo & 2.5hrs from Queenstown.
