The stay went very well. There are multiple options for fishing and places to launch a boat. I would definitely recommend this for a vacation for with all the activities to be had in the area. We encountered friendly people in the area and with shopping and restaurants close by it made our time there a memorable one.

The cottage was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and going out on the lake with the paddle boards and kayaks. We would definitely rent here again.

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

This is my second time at this place, it is always clean, and well maintained, as well as helpful host. Always answers messages fast, and gives clear instructions. I enjoyed the time stayed at this place, beautiful place.

This place was the perfect getaway for our family weekend. Our daughter is a student at University of Michigan and we wanted to give her a break from studying. This cottage made for a peaceful weekend trip. Cute towns and parks to explore with an amazing view to enjoy morning coffee/evening drinks.

When I think of the perfect getaway this is the place. Well taken care of. Much bigger than it looks. The decor and furnishings were amazing. The couch is insanely comfy. The views are some of the best on Lake Orion. This is the best of LO and a slice of heaven I am glad they are willing to share. Jamie went above and beyond and made our son’s birthday extra special. Having been around LO for years this is a gem that shouldn’t be passed up.

A GEM BY THE LAKE - With its lakeside location in a quiet neighbourhood, Rosanne’s property is super welcoming with a well equipped, large kitchen-cum-dining space, facing north, which is open to the south (back) great room, with its comfy sofas and chairs, games equipment and desk with brochures of local area points of interest, maps, etc. Through floor to ceiling windows of the great room, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of the lake inviting you onto the outdoor verandah to enjoy the sights and sounds (sunrises, sunsets) that’ll wow you! The second floor main suite is idyllic - a huge south-facing room with loveseat, ensuite bathroom, humongous closet and a balcony with comfy seating. Two more bedrooms (north facing) are on 2nd floor, with a 4th downstairs (west-facing). Another bathroom (east side) is also downstairs. Every space is extremely clean, well decorated but not cluttered. One of THE best homes we’ve experienced. Thank you Rosanne for hosting us and our pups.

We loved this cabin. Real kayaks to use and are easy to access. The yard is amazing, neighbors are nice and gave us tips about the lake. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house itself is incredibly clean and cozy, and has all the things you need. I read some previous reviews about the water; I can see why it’s surprising to people who have only had city water, but I think it’s pretty typical well water and is fine to use and drink. The owner also provided bottled water.

House was clean and cozy. Heating and water temperature were nice. beds and linens were comfortable and the area wqs cozy. Only negative that I can really think of is the low water pressure, which can fallen anywhere and still worked fine. was a great stay and Dang was very attentive and responsive.

Great central location for visiting family in Michigan - east to get to lansing and Ann Arbor. Peaceful little place to relax

We wanted a peaceful, relaxing and fun Fall getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The Cottage was everything we asked for- simple and cozy! The sunrise over the lake was gorgeous, coffee on deck started the days nicely and warm fires ended the nights!

Great place to stay, overlook on the river was very nice. Plenty of room for boat parking. Clean and affordable, lots of space.

The Urban Cottage was a lovely get away for my husband, myself and our pup! The outdoor area is very spacious with areas for our dog to run loose! She loved it in the back open field area! We were introduced to the space and given keys by Steve. He was nice and informative. It is not self check in so you will tell them it ETA. Sarah was nice via messaging as well. You felt immediately comfortable! The space has a fun vibe and I enjoyed journaling and drinking tea out by the creek at the outdoor table. I found the cemetery very nice behind the property, there were people who use the trail back there, we didn’t explore it ourselves. The shower was small but nice and had shampoo, conditioner and soap. Everything was very clean. The Keurig was an added bonus and there were a lot of plates, bowls, utensils and cups! The bed was very comfy and the comforter was really warm! We had a great sleep! The photos are all accurate and it is decorated beautifully. Thank you for a wonderful stay! A+!

We traveled to the area for a wedding and appreciated finding a very reasonably priced place to stay for the 7 of us in our group. The house was clean and owners very responsive. As other reviewers have mentioned, the signage in the neighborhood against Airbnb's made us a little nervous, but we had zero issues with neighbors and the entire time we spent at the house was quiet and peaceful. The pizza place and general store near the house were great stops for food and drinks/snacks when we arrived in town. When our daughter forgot one of her dolls at the house, Greg quickly mailed it back to us which was very appreciated. If we had to do it over again, we would have gladly stayed in the same house.

Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. Wish I had more time there to enjoy the lake but we had a tight schedule.

I am so grateful for having booked this place and having had the pleasure of calling it home since December. the house is beautiful! has everything and anything we needed. Carmen was always responsive to any enquires! the area is so beautiful, so peaceful! I only wish I could have stayed intimate the summer months! but all good things must come to an end! thank you Carmen for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home for so long! a must stay if you're visiting Windsor!

We were up in Michigan for our son’s graduation from University of Michigan. We were in need of reasonable lodging for 4 adults. Holly was very responsive, accommodating, and understanding. The house was exactly as pictured and described on the Airbnb website. It was quaint and very comfortable. I wish we could have spent a few more days to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. But alas, we could not. If you ever find yourself in the area, I highly recommend Holly’s place.

This place is exactly as shown and described. Would be beautiful to stay in the summer on the water and having the pool. Everything we needed was there and Katie was very responsive to any questions. Enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay at this property. Amanda was an amazing host, and communicated quite frequently to make are that everything was in order..Check In and Check out procedures were clear. The cottage itself was immaculate, and the views of the lake were pristine. Only a few minutes into Amherstburgh and Windsor. Highly recommend this property. We'll definitely go.back if we are ever in the area again.

Wish we had more time to relax there but the time we had was so peaceful. Having a morning coffee, sitting out along the lake on the dock, Premium. My only issue was that train. I'm a light sleeper. I heard any that went by. Didn't seem to bother my wife.
