The cabins are tucked in to a little bit of paradise. We really liked the camping vibe of the place and the guitars in each cabin were a very welcome touch to my son, who was missing his guitar at home. Wish we had longer to go out kayaking. Gives us a reason to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s the quaintest little nook- the bed was super comfortable and the cottage has everything you need. You are in RV park but it is extremely quiet and sort of tucked away in the corner of the grounds, so we never felt like we didn’t have privacy. Also, Clara is a wonderful host. Kind and friendly and always there to help. Thank you for everything, Clara!

Angela’s ‘Cajun Cabins’ were just as described in the AirBnb listing and just as I’d hoped. Very quiet rural setting high above the Margaree River. From the porch, a visitor is treated to misty morning valley views and amazing sunsets.

Beautiful…. The house was great. We had a fire every night (Niki stocked with very dry wood, truly appreciated). Kitchen had everything needed for cooking (which we did each night and morning). Bed was really comfortable and bathroom was nice and clean. All of that was great, but outside was even better. The views of the coast and landscape were amazing. We caught perfect sunsets and one night had an unbelievable view of the stars and the Milky Way…. Very private and a perfect relaxing getaway. We could not have been happier with our stay.

Lovely location, beautiful surroundings, peaceful spot. Angelo was a great host, super helpful, with great, proactive communication. This is the second year in a row I stayed at the cabins and absolutely loved the spot. The cooking station is excellent and well-equipped, covered, and has a big table for sharing meals with friends. The cabins are super comfy, heated, and well appoint d. The sauna is a bonus. Thanks, Angelo!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and though tiny, we had everything needed for a great stay. There are rolling platforms under the bed for luggage, etc which was great. Lovely to be right next to the water and beautiful view. Loved the binder of area information which we used daily for adventures. Dinner at the Markland was fabulous as promised. Thanks for the great home base on Cape Breton Island.

Cozy spot with everything you need for a long weekend stay. Located close to the snowmobile trails which is exactly what we were looking for. Our host was extra helpful sourcing us some tools when one of our sleds needed a fix. 100% would recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Randy and Bernadette’s tiny home. It was super clean and comfortable. They are located in the perfect spot for exploring everything that Cape Breton Island has to offer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about just that. Randy and Bernadette are very friendly and didn’t hesitate to get us anything we asked for and then some.

Nice little place to use as a starting point to do the Cabot Trail circuit! Booked it fairly last minute, but Ian was still there to great me with a smile on arrival and show me around the small space. Great little place if all you're looking to do is sleep and clean up a bit, since it's a smaller space with not many extras. I was in a rush booking and didn't realize the common area (couches, wood burning stove, some basic kitchen appliances) which includes the bathroom (a lockable room with the kitchen sink, shower, and toilet) were actually shared with the other bunkie on premises. The other guests were respectful and we had a nice short chat when bumping into each other on the way to a shower or such, before heading our separate ways. Although the separation of bed space did make any late night trips to the bathroom a bit chilly, as you have to walk out of your bunkie to the common room. But besides that, it was a clean, nice place to lay my head before a long day of adventuring.

Beautiful, quaint place in gorgeous surroundings! On our 1-week trip to Nova Scotia, this was our most favourite place! So peaceful, with the most beautiful view of the ocean (plus, a private beach!) right from the windows. Very very clean with lots of light, and very thoughtful touches (coffee provided, local reconnections listed, John was super-quick in communicating back). A solid 10/10! Loved it!

A perfect spot along the Cabot Trail to rest your head. Was really happy with the self check in/check out service, made everything so seamless. Would happily recommend this stopping point for travellers.

Really enjoyed my time at Lake Ainsley. Beautiful lake, wonderful quiet property, and lovely tiny home. Bob was a great host and was very responsive. Will definitely consider staying again in the future.

It was a great, simple tiny home. We had a 90lb dog with us so it was a little tight, but it was expected. Everything was very clean and cozy.

Great little place for a great price. It had everything we needed and was nice and clean. Sunset was spectacular. Would definitely recommend for a great "glamping" experience.

The location is amazing, with a spectacular view. Beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise. the trail to the beach is a great walk, and the beach itself is secluded and pristine. The host is very easily reached and accommodations were exactly as advertised. We will most definitely be checking out the Michael's other offerings.

If you wish to have a real lighthouse experience, this is the place to go to. Overlooking St Ann’s bay, just steps from a partly rough beach and offering the quietness and relaxation one is hoping for Rosella and John are perfect hosts who really excell in offering their guests all what one can hope for and more…. At the same time, whilst living just a stone throw away, they are giving you the total privacy you can enjoy both in the lighthouse and on the terrace overlooking the bay. We LOVED to stay here and can warmly recommend it.
