We had the most wonderful stay at The Lookout. A well equipped, beautiful space with amazing views. St James itself is also a lovely spot. We loved looking in the unique shops, having coffees, and feeling so free, we would definitely like go back. Imraan and his family were so friendly and welcoming. Just what we needed after a long stressful journey.

Namaste is in great location, easily walkable for SeaPoint Main Road and the Promenade, and quick to get an Uber into the city of Waterfront. The place is very comfortable and feels like a home rather than an AirBnB. The only slight downside is that the pool doesn’t get much sun as it’s in a courtyard, but we ended up using the hot tub on the roof deck more anyway. Bernie was very responsive and let us know about construction that was happening next door well before we arrived (that didn’t bother us at all to be honest) and provided tips and even came over with supplies for my wife who was feeling unwell one day! Overall highly recommend Namaste and we’d be happy to come back next time.

Wundervolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in dieser AirBnB-Unterkunft in Hout Bay! Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar – ruhig, idyllisch und nur einen Steinwurf vom Strand entfernt. Jeden Morgen aufzuwachen und die Meeresluft zu genießen, war ein absolutes Highlight. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders der großzügige Außenbereich hat uns begeistert, perfekt, um bei einem Glas Wein zu genießen. Die Gastgeber waren herzlich und hilfsbereit. Hout Bay selbst ist wunderschön – ein malerisches Küstendorf mit viel Charme und tollen Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen oder einen entspannten Strandtag. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Ein echtes Juwel!

Tolles Haus mit ausreichend Platz für alle, sensationeller Blick über Kapstadt, Ausstattung hervorragend. Housekeeping 1 x die Woche inclusive, weitere jederzeit als extra buchbar, Auto steht in der Garage, alles sehr sicher. Mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, von hier aus ist man fast überall unter 30 min. (Stellenbosch, Kapstadt downtown, Golfplätze, Weingüter). Leider hat nur 1 Schlafzimmer Klimaanlage. Am Abreisetag Konten wir das Haus noch tagsüber nutzen.

We had the best time at Yvette and Wesleys place. This is a true gem to stay at, and they are super helpful and responsive to any thing we asked! I would recommend them 100% to anyone travelling with kids and small families, we will definitely be staying here again!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Laurence’s place! He was extremely accommodating for a very early check-in, communicative throughout, and reacted immediately when we needed things. Location was perfect - walkable to the promenade and restaurants easily. Just up a steep hill, so be aware of that! Was no problem at all for us. Some little nigling things in the condo need fixing, but Laurence is going to attend to them in the off-season. Bottom floor can be dark if cloudy but outdoor spaces make up for it. Bonus: there is a LOVELY cat next door who will visit you (and stay). Wine at sunset on the balcony was the highlight of the stay 😌 Thanks heaps, Laurence!

Perfect location, walkable to the vibe of Kloof and Bree street, A short drive to all the epic beaches, so close to Table mountain hiking or cable car. Beautiful, quirkly victorian, the deck is outstanding with 360 degree views of city and mountains. Kids had a blast in the hot tub. Felt safe and secure. Hosts were responsive and gave us a tour of the house. House a little dark inside but you will want to spend all the time on the roof anyway. Found the kitchen a bit un-user friendly. Not much counter space and fridge far away. But you will want to braai/bbq outisde anyway and spoilt for choice with coffee shops just around the corner. Overall a really wonderful experience!

Very beautiful place to stay, felt at home right away. Has loads of space. Very peaceful and quiet. Didier was very helpful and responsive. Awesome property!

What a beautiful place! This is probably the first time that I missed the AirBnB after I got back to my home. The house was in a stunning location. It was a great base to discover Cape Town because of its central location. We had a great time. Thank you, Gagan and Gautami.

We spent 2 weeks at Sebastian’s beautiful home - 8 adults and 4 kids ranging from 2 to 10 years of age. The views are incredible, the kids absolutely loved the hot tub - as did the adults! It’s a 10 minute walk to the promenade and also U was are super easy to get and very reliable. Kayla the house keeper was there every other day to clean the house and she was wonderful to chat to as well as a welcome help to keep the house clean. Sebastian does warn about the stairs so that was something to look out for with the little ones, but we managed fine - the house is set up well enough to be able to keep an eye ☺️ We would happy stay there again. We absolutely love Cape Town and Camps Bay in particular.

Our stay at The Rafters was lovely! The house was a quintessential artists cottage with amazing artwork and beautiful interior design. It had everything we needed, but the rooms did get very chilly at night, especially with a little baby. It is walking distance to all the amazing restaurants in Kalk Bay. We loved our stay and wholeheartedly recommend it to other travellers! The wood-fired hot tub was very popular too!

Even better than we thought it would be! Must see in person because photos can't do justice to the home. We had an amazing time staying at this beachside home! The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, and being able to access the beach right from the backyard was wild! And the hotub at sunset!🤌🏾 The house itself was beautifully decorated, with every detail clearly thought out. Our host was so welcoming and even had snacks waiting for us—cheese, crackers, fresh mangos, nuts, ostrich jerky, and candy—such a nice surprise! They helped us carry our bags down the stairs (which are a bit steep but totally worth it for the view!). We felt so relaxed here, especially with the housekeeper who did our laundry and even cleaned our shoes after a hike. We didn’t want to leave and couldn’t be more grateful for such a thoughtful host and an unforgettable stay. Thank you for letting us visit!

Philippe is a fantastic host! He was waiting for our arrival at midnight to welcome us and show around. And even foresaw a breakfast seen our late arrival. As a family of 5 moving in Hout Bay, we had tons of questions for the relocation. He was happy to help on whatever topic at hand: car renting, groceries, school, etc The house is perfectly well equipped and the view over the bay stunning.

Very spacious and clean home. Leona and James were welcoming and responsive hosts. We weren’t able to use the pool due to the weather, but it would have been wonderful if hot. Being able to hike right up the road is also something we didn’t take advantage of due to time and winds but is a wonderful feature. We did enjoy meals on the back deck and great views of table mountain from the side deck. Excellent Shift espresso cafe and deer park cafe restaurant within walking distance down the road.

Prachtig huis aan de voet van de Tafelberg. Uitzicht vanaf het terras op Lionshead. De zee de zonsondergang alles was mooi. Huis is ruim. Met inderdaad 3 super mooie slaapkamers en 1 iets minder mooi. Maar slapen doe je met je ogen dicht! Huis voelde veilig aan. Ruimte genoeg voor iedereen. Zwembad was erg koud is nu eind april. Jacuzzi was heerlijk met mooi uitzicht op de zee. Kortom een mooie woning om te huren. Het contact liep zeer soepel! Heel erg fijn. Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf! De champagne 🍾 hebben we opgetrokken de eerste avond! We zullen dit huis aanraden. Stewart nogmaals dank. 🙏🏼 De kinderen hadden het liefst nog een week verbleven!

Wundervolles Apartment mit einmaligem Blick aus allen Schlaf- und vor allem aus dem Wohnzimmer. Die Terrassen sind grossartig und der Maon Bedroom ist eigentlich schon eine Wohnung für sich. Wir waren zwei Familien mit insgesamt vier Kindern, die es geliebt haben.

We stayed in the Wheat Cabin. The view was fantastic, the cabin well equipped with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a great addition and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin is private and the best break away from the hustle and bustle. Lida and Kobus were fantastic hosts and ensured that we had no shortcomings, including complimentary wine and homemade bread.We will be back soon!

Lovely location right by the beach with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The house was lovely and very clean, had all the basics and is surrounded by other residence but still very secluded which we loved. Nolene was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.

Our weekend in Kalk Bay staying at this beautiful and unique pad was absolutely perfect. We were welcomed in by a huge pod of thousands of dolphins in False Bay which was incredible. We were absolutely thrilled upon arrival to find a gorgeous home - stone, glass and wood with lots of local features and character. We loved spending hours on the deck soaking up the views and Kalk Bay vibe. It is in the perfect location in Kalk Bay - high enough to have amazing views of the mountain, harbour and ocean, and low enough to have easy access via stone steps to the wonderful shops, restaurants and bakeries in the village. We loved our walks along the seaside and our swims in the refreshing tidal pools, all within easy walk of this cottage. The hospitality from Greg, and Jane, was so warm and welcoming with lots of special touches to help us enjoy our weekend. This is a 10/10 experience and a stay that I highly recommend. This is going to become one of my favourite getaways!

We will definitely return to enjoy the peace & tranquility that this hidden gem has to offer. It has all the qualities of a 5 star stay. A perfect getaway where one feels spoiled by the relaxed and scenic ambience along with the carefully selected decor of rustic meets modern. It catered for our every need. Our overall stay was more than great, and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. Our pup felt so at home because it felt like home to us..Pity we could not stay longer.

We spent three unforgettable nights at the Cape Saffron cabin to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely everything we had hoped for—peaceful, romantic, and beautifully serene. From the moment we arrived, we were taken aback by the breathtaking views and the tranquil atmosphere that surrounded us. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully maintained. Its aesthetic charm perfectly matched the photos—we truly got what was promised, and more. Every detail, from the cozy interiors to the stylish decor, made us feel instantly at home. It was the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and we couldn’t have asked for a more magical setting for our special occasion. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet, scenic getaway with a touch of luxury.

I stayed at Bronwyn’s for a few weeks, it was a nice calm and green space that was a good base in Cape Town. Bronwyn was a really considerate and communicative host.
