Set on the Brecon canal "Poppy's Pad" is a new modern luxury studio apartment with a private entrance set on the canal bank. Located above a community pub which welcomes families, dogs and couples. In ONE large living space you will find: a large living area with vaulted ceiling, 1 x king bed, 1 x sofa bed and a full kitchen. A separate bathroom with a walk in shower completes the space. The apartment over looks the hills and town of Risca which can be seen from the two Juliet balconies.

Dating back to the 17th century, it is one of the more prominent houses in a charming village two miles from Cowbridge and 15 minutes from United World College (Atlantic College). Pontcanna has many highly recommended cafes, bars and restaurants all within 10 mins walk. Spend a couple of days and explore the natural beauty and history of the city. Breakfast not provided. Very friendly household ,situated a stones throw from the castle (15 min walk) and city centre, cricket ,football grounds and the Millennium stadium.We are a pretty 30 mins walk along the river from the train station. Locally there are excellent restaurants and pubs plus Chapter Arts centre. We are located next to Bute Park perfect for walks along the river and arboretum . We have super fast Virgin broadband. Check in/ out times can be flexible depending on the calendar.

Our house was built in 1900 and is located in the heart of Whitchurch village, a leafy suburb of North Cardiff. The city centre is 3km away and is easily accessible by car, train, bus or bicycle along the Taff Trail. Velindre Cancer Centre Hospital is a 10 minute walk from our house and the University Hospital of Wales, ( Heath Hospital ) is a 10 minute drive.

The double bedroom, which has been newly decorated, has an ensuite shower room. Penylan is very close to the centre of Cardiff with many local shops close by, including a coffee shop a few yards from the house.

Our home is four miles from the city centre in a very quiet road. There are excellent transport links into the city (trains and buses), and we are less than a mile from J32 of the M4. There is plenty of free on street parking outside the house. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance.
