It was very nice knowing that my rental fee was going towards looking after the rescue animals. I really enjoyed spending some time with the animals.

Had fantastic stay at the lodge, which is very much on the lake! We enjoyed amazing views both during the day, and at night watching the stars. We had a lovely day out at Cefn Mably farm, very short walk from the lodge. A great Birthday weekend!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights, the place was spotless and well equipped. Beautiful views and lovely locals walks. Cosy local pub just a short walk away. Would 100% recommend for a quiet getaway! Thanks again Owen.

Absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the Cefn Mably Lakes cabins! The location is gorgeous, and the cabin is super cute, with everything you need. The wildlife is stunning, we saw so many frogs, fish, birds and even an Otter we named Oscar! The hot tub was perfect too, lovely to go in day or night. Owen’s really helpful, and replied almost instantly. We can’t thank you enough, would definitely recommend!

Kate was great with communication at all times and sorted out any problems quickly and efficiently. The cabin was exactly as described and equipped well with everything we needed for our two night stay. Highly recommended!

This was the most amazing property I’ve ever stayed in! From the friendly hosts, amazing views, beautiful wildlife to the overall cleanliness but best of all has to be the location. I’ve never experienced such peace and privacy it was above our expectations. Amazing value for money and cannot wait to come back!

Me and my partner spent 2 nights here. Great communication with Diane and David from the start and very quick to answer any questions before our getaway. We tied in our break with a day spent in Cardiff for the six nations, so the location was perfect for us - beautiful surroundings, easy to find and away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, which was a lovely! An extra thank you to David for making sure our travel arrangements on the Saturday were as easy and stress free as possible! Overall, a fantastic place to stay and we’ve already talked about coming back with friends and staying in both lodges! Thank you both :)

Wow wow wow! We had such a wonderful time at The Roost, and we can’t wait to visit again! Kath has done an amazing job making her place warm (even in FREEZING weather), cosy, and welcoming, there were so many thoughtful little touches that surprised us that it will be difficult to mention them all! We stayed at The Roost for a short Valentine’s break, and I wanted something different to surprise my boyfriend with. Everything was of exceptional quality, including super warm and cosy bedding, sparkling clean shower rooms, a very cool kitchen area with board games provided, environmentally friendly toilet roll and cleaning products, and also a great set-up for bikes, with bike racks inside the cabins and a bike wash area. A personal highlight was the mouthwatering homemade Welsh cakes left for us in our cabin, these were delicious and I could definitely have over-indulged! Kath was incredibly accommodating to us when the weather forecast had predicted a very bad storm, reaching out to check if we needed to postpone our trip, and then allowing us to do this at no extra cost. All in all, we had a superb time and can’t wait to visit again (hopefully when the weather is warmer!)

Lovely location and private, we had BBQ just in front of our Lodge, kitchen and toilets are nice and clean, there was even spare camping gas cookers and BBQs with amenities and a place to sit with roof above your head just in case it was raining. In the morning host came around check out time to check upon us and told us that we don't need to rush with checking out and can stay untill later if we wish which was very nice of him. Very close to attractions many thanks, until next time !

price felt a little high as nothing to do on site. other than that lovely caravan had everything you need. easy to find. definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the Heron lodge, I felt like Pocahontas! So much wildlife, had a resident Pheasant I named Hew, a mink, bats, frogs, fish so many different birds. It was beautiful. The hot tub was fantastic, the cabin was compact but didn’t feel small. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom was a decent size. There was an onsite shop, the coffee machine was out of order however, one of the lovely staff made me a nice coffee for the drive home. Late check in was very easy and Owen was really responsive to messages regarding late arrival. All in all, 10/10 for a peaceful relaxing stay! Will recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you!

This was our second visit and we stayed in Pine tree . We had a lovely relaxing stay and thoroughly enjoyed it . We had the pleasure of meeting Rita and thought she was a lovely friendly lady . Pine Tree had everything we needed for our 4 night staycation . We will definitely return again .

We've never stayed at an Airbnb before, but after Rita made it so easy from start to finish, we wouldn't hesitate again! The location was a little bit difficult to find, as we didn't come on the motorway (it being Friday), but we went back to the roundabout with the clock on (as per directions) & found it! We arrived in the dark, but there was a torch on the table! Everything was clean and labelled (plugs, water heater & oven), and there was a "things to do" file on the coffee table. Rita had thought of everything a guest would need! We were about 15 minutes out of Pontypridd town centre so the location was excellent! Overall the lodge was excellent, we were very happy with our break & we would definitely recommend the accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area! Thank you Rita!

Me and my husband went for a night way and the place was so peaceful with amazing scenery, the pod was so lovely inside and had everything we needed, the gentleman walking around was so lovely and helpful asking us if we needed anything. We will definitely be returning thankyou

Just back from a 2 night stay at the Lodge on the Lake, Cefn Mably Lakes. The guys in Reception were very helpful checking us in, nice little shop and cafe at reception. Lodge itself is in a pretty picturesque peaceful location. Very private with the other lodges position a good distance away, lovely lake my husband caught 4 fish biggest being 24lb, we enjoyed beautiful weather so made the most of the outside space with a lovely hot tub, chairs, tables, bbq ( we took our folding sun loungers which were a great addition on the private secluded decking enjoying the sunshine, The lodge had everything you needed, fulls equipped comfortable and bijoux. All in all we will certainly go back.. can’t believe we were only 30 mins from our home it felt like we were in Cornwall. Highly recommended.
