Beautiful, modern & well designed cabin in the woods in the privacy and comfort of the Inishbeg estate. The views looking into the woods and out towards the estuary are stunning, as is the starry sky on a clear night. It was a great bonus to also be able to enjoy the amenities of the estate, and Paul was very accommodating as a host. The location is very private, as the house is located down its own drive in the woods. There is an adjacent path near the house which is accessible to other guests and visitors to the estate, as well as a neighbouring house nearby but there's still a very good sense of privacy. The house is almost exactly 10 minutes drive from Baltimore and Skibbereen, with easy access to Sherkin, Cape Clere and Lough Hyne, so there's plenty to do and see nearby, as well as plenty of places to eat and buy food to prepare - including some delicious local seafood. Would definitely stay at Inishbeg again.

We had a wonderful experience at Starling Cottage. The property and the setting is something special. Everything was exactly as described and more. It was the perfect retreat in beautiful & peaceful surroundings, with everything you need. Chris is a wonderful host; very friendly, helpful & welcoming, yet respectful of your privacy. We stayed as a family of four, would highly recommended and hope to return!

Lovely spacious and very clean house on a peaceful island in county cork. We spent 5 nights here for my mother in law’s birthday. Well located to explore the surrounding beaches, bays, islands and countryside. Unfortunately our fridge broke but the team were very quick to create solutions and then fix it. Our stay in Wren Cottage was truly the most luxurious and relaxing experience. It’s the perfect place for a cosy couple retreat. Naomi kindly checked us in and showed us around. The location was extremely private. We made full use of the sauna and pool many times, and had it to ourselves each time. Just a short preheat needed for the sauna and it’s ready to use. We’d recommend bringing slippers/sandals and a robe for walking across the yard to the spa. Fold-out sofa bed is more comfortable and spacious than it looks. Wren Cottage is small but is beautifully furnished and has everything you’ll need. Both the Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker were a huge bonus. We had the most wonderful time and will definitely be back!

My two friends stayed in Mary's property during their 10 day trip to Cork from New York. The property was absolutely perfect, really clean and comfortable and in an ideal location to explore Cork city by foot. The house is within walking distance of lots of nice bars and restaurants including the Marina Market which is a great place to visit during a trip with lots of options for food. Mary was an excellent host, welcoming, kind and always very responsive. She made sure to check in with us multiple times during the trip to make sure everything was okay. She was also very flexible and kind about the check out time which we really appreciated! I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Cork, just perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming accommodation in Cork. The place was well maintained, with everything clean and tidy. Despite being slightly behind schedule for our check-in, the host was incredibly understanding and accommodating. The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore Cork as it is reasonable driving distance to the Cork city as well as quaint towns like Kinsale and Bandon. The warm hospitality of Eileen and her husband was quite memorable. They were very friendly and provided many suggestions and recommendations about places to visit.

from start to finish could not complain house was everything you needed for a few days away super clean and everything as listed so close to everything pubs food and shops host was 100% to deal with would highly recommend and will be staying again when down that way

Très belle maison, la décoration est soignée. Le logement était très propre. Nous n'étions pas tout du à l'étroit en étant 8. Possibilité de garer la voiture devant la maison sans difficulté. Le seul point négatif est la communication: nous n'avions pas de consignes de départ et nous avons dû faire comme nous pouvions sans réponse rapide de la part de l'hôte. Je recommande quand même fortement ce logement!

On arrival we found a beautiful basket filled with little treats and a bottle of red. The fridge had milk eggs and bread. The instructions where to find things were super clear and the entire house was spotless. Lovely people to communicate with. Would highly recommend this house. Thank you for allowing us to rent it.

Niamhs place was just excellent, we stayed for 11nights whilst working in the area and it had everything we needed. fully kitted kitchen, WiFi, comfortable beds, good warm showers and warm house. very pleasant host, would stay here again and highly recommend.

This is a beautiful house with a real family feel. It’s a stones throw from the town of Clonakilty and is in a very peaceful setting. It’s great for families and the facilities are fantastic. There is everything you need and a lovely garden in the sunshine. Definitely recommend and would stay again . Fabulous .

Amazing and unique experience with incredible waterfront views. Saoirse was very welcoming prior to our trip and checked in frequently before we arrived. Her instructions were clear and the house was immaculate, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. We felt like we were at home the minute we walked in the door, and were blown away with the amenities and views. The house is a short walk from the beach/boardwalk and the town center, but you don't even have to leave the house to have a great experience here.

Una casa con muchas posibilidades para estar en familia, una zona muy tranquila y muy bonita, pero a la vez a unos 3 km. un pueblo con todo lo necesario, tiendas, restaurantes... Skibbereen. Bernadette desde el primer momento comprobando si todo iba bien o había algún problema. Lo único que yo recomendaría, sobre todo a los que no estamos acostumbrados a conducir con el volante a la derecha es si viajas desde Cork, poner en *maps Google" la dirección del pueblo de Skibbereen y una vez esten en dicho pueblo, poner en "maps Google" la dirección de la casa que solo está a unos 3 km. aprox. El trayecto es un poco más largo pero las carreteras son bastante mejores.

The house is far enough away from town centre for a quiet night ( a lovely local a few seconds away ), but close enough to walk to the town centre within twenty to thirty minutes ). The house is cosy, like a cottage, with all you need for cooking. And as for Jeff, you could not be in kinder, safer hands. He was flexible, proactive and very knowledgeable. My cousins and I had a wonderful stay here and in Cork! Thank you.

Great place to stay to access Killarney without being right in the busy town. Host showed us the lay of the land and gave us local hike recommendations.
