Close enough to town (16 min to the Hood River bridge), but far enough away to relax and unwind. Twin Oaks is an updated doublewide home perched on a basalt knoll with 11 beautiful acres overlooking vineyards and the Columbia River. Views include river and gorge to the west and north. In springtime see waterfalls on the Washington cliffs. Located 8 miles east of Hood River, Twin Oaks is near Mosier on scenic Hwy 30. This is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, with nearby hiking, biking, watersports, boat ramp, & ski areas. Enjoy the numerous wineries and local microbrews in the area.

Relax in our cozy Eagles Nest, have a glass of local wine or beer and enjoy the picturesque view. This house is close to local wineries, waterfalls, breathtaking hikes, Mt. biking, river rafting, paddle-boarding, kite-boarding and downtown Hood River! The house is perfect for 6 guests and a behaved pup, $35 pet fee (owners must follow pet rules)

Environmentally friendly, using many materials in the construction that are considered LEED certification worthy. Lots of windows. Backyard deck, metal chiminea, gas BBQ. No TV.

Three bedrooms with memory foam mattresses and a queen size aero-bed in the living room means this home will comfortably sleep up to 8 guests.

Step outside for a walk in the woods or along the river where peace and beauty will surround you. Trails and rivers are all in the backyard! Take an authentic Finnish wood fired sauna with hot water and cold plunge (add as an extra) or gaze at the grand stone fireplace after watching the salmon spawning on the river. Possibilities for local recreation in the gorge also abound.

You'll have the entire second floor which includes a separate entrance, kitchen & dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer plus a deck with picnic table and grill. There are 3 queen beds and a twin with sleeping for 7. Explore the garden with goldfish & koi ponds, 1100' of creek, 2 waterfalls, & a picnic area or take a short hike to an overlook of the Columbia River Owner lives downstairs. No animals (allergies).

Secluded White Salmon River Cabin

A small, cozy cabin perched above the White Salmon River, just minutes from town. Enjoy the expansive 180 degree views from your private little forest oasis or take advantage of the central location to explore all The Gorge has to offer. We've recently renovated this private retreat to keep our visiting friends and family comfortable.
