We had a wonderful time celebrating my brother's engagement and catching up with old friends! It was super peaceful but also had plenty of room to host a party and have a good time. We would 100% come back. My only warning to those coming here is to bring throw blankets if you are used to always having some.

Our second time staying with David and Ann for a guys' weekend of biking and relaxing. Their place was exactly as we remembered it - peacful, private, and spacious. The kitchen was fantastic and the big living room and TV were great for relaxing after some long rides. Communication was excellent. We love this place and can't wait to come again!

We can’t wait to visit Michigan again and will definitely stay here again when we do! This place is so close to beaches, hiking and everything we wanted. Jennifer is an amazing host and was always available and very helpful! We highly recommend this home!

The interior of the home was very nice and clean. The beds were so comfortable. We rarely sleep well away from home and left well rested. Patti was super helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our time in Buchanan!! Thank you!

I had a few "special requests" and Michele was able to accommodate us without hesitation. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was even better in person! This house is set up like a top notch AirBnB. All the little extras set this house above par.

Our stay was wonderful. The cottage was well stocked, clean, comfortable!! It was great. The owner responded immediately if I had questions. I have zero complaints!! We will do it again!

I have rented many houses for vacations and this house has thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. There was a lot of seating outside, many hooks on the walls for wet towels, a stocked kitchen and reverse osmosis water. I brought my own sensitive skin detergent because I am allergic to detergents with dyes in them. I really appreciated the fact that all of their towels and linens were washed with sensitive skin detergent of their own and I did not have to worry about my skin breaking out. There was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. I thought this property was very thoughtful of their guests and Doug was a wonderful and responsive person. Also my son is allergic to dogs and he had no problems in this house. I was visiting family and of course everyone has dogs and Doug allowed my family members to come visit with me during the day with no complaints. We rented a boat to go tubing and cruising around the lake. I really recommend this property.

The house had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway- so much so, that we never had to leave. Our Evolve host JC was incredibly helpful, responsive and very kind. The home and property are well kept and very easy to settle in. The lake was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets while cozy around the fire pit. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Our stay at Matthew's house was absolutely perfect! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchens were well-equipped, the beds were cozy, and the two living rooms were perfect for relaxing. The highlight was definitely their location on Shavehead Lake! It was perfect for the kids to swim and convenient for us to dock our boat.

We loved our stay at this house! Shannon was a very responsive and accommodating host, and the check-in process was smooth. The house was very clean and there was a lot of space for our group to gather and play games. The back deck is great as well with a beautiful view of the lake. Our only complaint was how high the cleaning fee was considering there was a checklist of chores we had to complete before leaving. We felt that we overpaid for the size of the house, but overall we were satisfied. This is a great location and we hope to be back!

Wonderful lake house rental!!! The lake was absolutely awesome. The house has a great location on a nice part of the lake and a great little patio and yard right on the water. The lake is deep enough to jump off the end of the pier and the sandy in the shallow area. There are even stairs to make getting in and out of the water easy! Richard is a wonderful host and let my kids play with all his water toys. They loved the stand up paddle board, noodles, boogie boards, paddle boat, and especially the floating raft a little ways off the pier. We were also able to rent a pontoon from Richard, which was so perfect and convenient. The open living space kitchen/tv room/porch was much more spacious than expected and gave my family of 5 plenty of room to spread out. We would love to return!

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful short vacation at Avery's place! The home was immaculate, cozy, and exactly as described. From the comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a great experience for all four of us. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants, and the stunning lake view right in front of the house was a beautiful bonus. What truly made the stay exceptional was Avery's hospitality. They were incredibly responsive, providing clear instructions and helpful recommendations for the area. Avery's warm welcome and attentive care throughout our stay made us feel right at home. We highly recommend Avery's place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Beautiful peaceful place with delightful country charm. Kids caught fireflies and frogs and loved the screened in porch that doubled as a playroom. Check in and check out was so easy.

The host reached out to me before my stay and gave very clear and simple instructions on how to get in. The home was beautiful and there was so much space for everyone who stayed with me. I appreciated his transparency and the fact that he voiced any concerns to keep everything running smoothly. His rules / expectations were clear and reasonable. The night before I checked out, he messaged me and let me know that we were welcome to stay later than our 11am checkout time, encouraged us to take our time on our way out, and invited us to come check out the market next door for breakfast.

Lovely home, lovely setting, very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of seating, modern pier. Beautiful clean lake, sandy bottom. Air conditioning and floor fans in every bedroom. Access in and out of lake was an issue for our toddler and grandparents as there is a seawall and no steps on the wall or pier. Living close by, we brought a ladder to rest against the pier which worked well. Grill may have an issue with gas regulator, required changing out the propane tank from the fire pit every day.

We had a lovely time at Linda’s home for our daughter’s graduation from Notre Dame. Everything was comfortable and spotless inside and out. The outside area’s plantings and wildlife are beautiful and we really enjoyed the fire ring for evening gatherings. The location is a wooded, peaceful and private area and about 20 minutes from campus. Linda left lots of notes for how to operate a very well equipped kitchen (and other aspects of the house) We were able to prepare a complicated home cooked meal of our daughter’s favorite foods for friends and family. Linda was very communicative and answered questions quickly and thoroughly. Her home is perfect for stays near the Notre Dame campus.

We picked this place to spend a peaceful weekend on the lake, and it was the perfect spot. The home overlooks a beautiful lake, and there’s an outdoor patio with plenty of chairs and couches. The sunset is one of the prettiest we’ve ever seen. Kelly and her husband are the friendliest people, and we’re extremely warm and gracious. Kelly offered us homemade lasagna which was very sweet of her. And the cherry on top, if you like pets, are their friendly pups. Smitty, the adorable golden retriever, was always coming around the patio for pets and scratches and was the highlight of our visit. We would love to visit and stay again with Kelly and her family.

This home was everything it was described to be and then some. Very clean, excellent accommodations for up to 13 guests, and a great setting on the lake.

Beautiful location. Great family home for relaxation. Didn’t use outside fire pit or water equipment. 2 large refrigerators for all your needs! WiFi is a little shotty at times. Cindy responds quickly to messages. Trying to find another reason to book her place! Enjoy!
