Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

With its 42 mt of height, Torre Salvucci Maggiore is one of the medieval town's famous towers and today the only one turned into a vertically-spread accommodation divided into 11 floors for a total of 143 steps. A un passo dalle città d'arte della Toscana e dal mare, siamo in una zona di grande interesse per la flora e la fauna selvatica e contornata da ville storiche, protetta dal vincolo paesaggistico; la strada che porta da noi, circa un Km, fa parte di questo patrimonio, non può essere asfaltata ed è un po' sconnessa. Per raggiungerci dovrete fare un un piccolo sforzo, affrontabile con una qualsiasi auto. Troverete in cambio silenzio, tranquillità e la nostra accoglienza.

La vicinanza alle città d'arte toscane e ai piccoli borghi tipici fa si che sia possibile anche andare alla scoperta di nuovi luoghi e scoprire i sapori della cucina italiana.

The studio apartment consists of a kitchenette, a living room with a sofa bed (queen-size bed), a double bed in the sleeping area (double mattresses resting on a Japanese tatami) and a bathroom with shower. The flat is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, TV, internet and air conditioning. It is a small and cozy flat, decorated with mosaics. It is situated in an alley inside the walls of the wonderful medieval village of Lari, 30 meters from the castle.

La tenuta Palmierina è in prossimità di Castelfalfi (un vero gioiello di architettura medievale) e nelle vicinanze di Firenze (50 Km), Siena (50 Km), Pisa (50 Km). Welcome to this charming and comfortable house, with a wide range of citrus fruits and a big garden where you can have a barbecue, sunbathe and relax in a peaceful atmosphere. It is composed of a hall, a balcony, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom, two large bedrooms with double beds and a bright and comfortable living room with a double sofa bed. There are two extra single beds in the bedrooms. The house can accommodate up to 6 people.
