This is a wonderful lakeside cabin. The yard is well landscaped and provides excellent privacy from the road and neighbors. The area is gorgeous, a short half mile walk from Long Point Park and also a nice walk from Aurora Brewing Company and Long Point Winery. The long bedroom off the kitchen provides a wonderful view of the lake through giant windows along one wall and a door right out to the deck. The bathroom off of this bedroom is very nicely designed as well, though note the water pressure is somewhat low in the shower. The other full bath had fine water pressure. The living room again has wonderful lake views with a sliding door out to the deck. Kayaks are provided and it is a lovely short kayak trip over to Long Point Park, just under 3 miles one way to kayak north to the Wells College boathouse, and about 2.25 miles across the lake to Thirsty Owl and Cayuga Ridge wineries. A gas grill and a charcoal grill are also available for some outdoor cooking. Brett’s father owns this cabin and he met us at the property for checkin, showed us around the cabin and property and gave us all of the information we needed. Brett handles communication through the airbnb app and he responds to questions very quickly. The cabin is not super fancy (hence cabin) but everything was clean and we didn’t see any insects of any kind inside. I would absolutely rent this cabin again for another weekend on the lake!

Perfect location on the lake. Beautiful cabin with plenty of space for all four of us adults. I would 100% recommend this location especially in the summer when you can use the kayaks (it was a little cold this time of year for us). Host was quick to respond and super helpful! Thank you!!!

This studio was a great place for our stay. Robb and his wife are amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make our time comfortable. The apartment was clean, cosy, and filled with all the things needed for our stay. The neighbourhood itself is very walkable and the village shops are only a five minute walk down the road. We wished we could've stayed longer.

Chloe's house at Skaneateles Lake is beautiful, it was clean and neat inside, the yard was big, the lake front was perfect. The house is spacious with beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. It is in a quiet neighborhood and felt very private. Karen, the manager, was quick to respond to my texts and extremely helpful.

Very charming house with everything we needed. However the most amazing part of our stay was the lakefront. Such a special place!! Large grass area with many chairs, beautiful view, easy access to the lake and all the kayaks and SUPs we needed!

Suzanne is a very kind host and answered messages promptly. Her cabin is so cute, very clean, and in an amazing location. Beautiful views at sunrise and sunset, and close to the nearby restaurants/wineries. We made the mistake of arriving after sunset, which made it a bit difficult to find where to turn on the grass. We would definitely recommend getting there while it’s still bright outside!

We loved our stay at this charming cottage right on the lake. The multigenerational rustic feel brought back fond memories of my youth on the lake. It was exactly what we were looking for. Kayaks and canoes were used by everyone. The weather was incredibly hot which encouraged all to jump in the lake. It is close to the village which allowed for quick trips to shop and enjoy its beauty and history. Barb was incredibly pleasant and the perfect host. Can’t wait to go back!

Cozy little cabin! Richard was very responsive and made sure we had what we needed to be comfortable. The kayaks and tennis court were big perks to the place. It’s a quick drive to the main street area where we shopped and enjoyed the views of the lake. Highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful weekend at the lake! This was perhaps the most accommodating home we have stayed in. Heidi and Emily are offering everything -- from the fireplace (already stocked with wood), to a canoe, to lawn games, a dedicated dog area outdoors, and an amazingly well-stocked library. This house truly has it all. It was the perfect location for our 9-member family vacation for grandparents, parents, kids, and 2 dogs. We loved every moment. The house has a great, sprawling layout that seems to go on forever! That means the 3 back bedrooms are quiet, and the door in between them and the living area is great for the early risers while the late sleepers snooze. There are so many nooks for hanging out and having side conversations while still feeling a part of the group, but also a few areas to go for some solitude. We really couldn't have asked for anything more than this home offers. And the views of the lake, both from the home and from the beach/dock, can't be beat!

This is our second year returning to this location and we had such a great time from kayaking, paddle boarding, volleyball, utilizing the outdoor kitchen, having a fire, swimming to docking our boat. Such a sweet little cottage tucked away above the Lake. Beautiful views from the deck, bedroom and living room! Quiet and serene yet close to all of the places we wanted to visit! Made a great landing spot for a relaxing and fun weekend! Thank you!!

David & Debby are wonderful hosts! We had a cold and rainy weekend for our stay, but their cozy home was just perfect to keep us warm and snug. Comfy beds, squeaky clean, and such a beautiful view. We will definitely be back!

The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The place was immaculate! We booked on short notice and arrived with everything taken care off. We were there in the “off season” must only get better “in season”.

We stayed with Daniel & Renata over the 4th of July. It was such a great time. The property is right on the water. We docked our boat there. They had kayaks and a swim platform and a volleyball net set up. We used the grill one night. The fireplace another night. The place was clean and we were all able to fit comfortably. We were even able to check in early. The communication was quick and easy - one night there was rain forecasted and we asked if we could shelter our motorcycle in the game room and within a minute we got a response that it would be ok! Fabulous hosts and a great property. We look forward to coming back in the future!

This was our third stay in the Finger Lakes region, and our entire family group was unanimous: this was our favorite location. The house is beautifully decorated, squeaky clean, and well-outfitted for our week long stay. Nice to have the lake right across the street, and have ample room on either side of the house for a sense of privacy. Only clumsy thing is that, because there seems to have been an addition built to the original historic structure, the bathroom locations upstair are little awkward to get to. No biggie, but if that's important to you and/or you have trouble with stairs, just take a closer look. But with three bathrooms and four bedrooms, there was plenty of room and everything was very modern and functional. My family doesn't agree on many things, but we all would love to stay here again!

The finger lakes was our destination for a full getaway weekend. We were thrilled to find this property on Lake Skaneateles, our favorite of the finger lakes! We loved the Barndominium from the first moment we entered it! Amazing views! The one big room is comfy, spacious, well equipped, and nicely decorated. We loved having lake access and kayaks to use right on the water!! The pool table was fun to have evenings and on the 1 rainy day. Beds and furniture were comfy, and the bathroom shower was especially spacious. Would we come back? Absolutely!! Thanks for a beautiful stay!!

Lisa’s pre-checkin instructions were thorough and accurate. We had a challenge with the door that proved to be operator error that she walked us through over the phone. Aside from that it was a wonderful place for our family to get together and relax including two active grandkids 3 and 8. We had everything we needed to make it a trouble free stay and keep everyone entertained. Across the driveway was a cow pasture which was very entertaining for the kids and adults plus there were some wonderful sunsets!
