Wow I cannot say enough about Jeanne's place, it met our needs for lots of sleeping spaces, lots of seating spaces for individual chats among our family group, but still intimate enough that all of us could be engaged at the same time. The layout of the property was top notch, well thought out, beautiful use of architecture and nautical/shipbuilding materials and theme flowing throughout. The views from inside the house overlooking the creek were amazing, everyone loved the loft room with the window, and the waterfront wildlife was nonstop from arrival. Everything was well stocked and super clean, and it was easy to get in and out of the house. Great area, great place to getaway and recharge. LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS PLACE. Would not think twice if I needed to stay here again. Definitely!

Hygge was the perfect place for a weekend in Chesapeake City! We were in town for the first time ever, celebrating my husband’s birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation. It’s in the perfect location and everything is extremely walkable. Great restaurants and shops are literally steps away and the view of the canal and marina, watching the boats come in, etc. were the perfect weekend vibes. The place was as adorable as the pictures show, very clean, and had everything we needed. The house guidebook contained all of the information we needed, and even included information about the local attractions. Karen was always responsive and helpful. I have zero complaints. We will definitely be back!

Our stay here was wonderful! Trey was a fantastic host and was quick to help out with what we needed during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having a highchair for our little one was a really helpful bonus! I would highly recommend a stay here.

Jim's place was great. Bright with lots of wibdows, and tidy. Full kitchen with everything needed for cooking. Jim responded to emails in a couple minutes, sometimes sooner. Great place. Great host. Great value.

Ebony is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had through Airbnb. Very responsive and helpful! You want crab at 10pm? She’ll find it for you! The view from the home was gorgeous. Very nice and quiet which allowed us some relaxation. Pleasantly surprised by the fireflies in the backyard and the huge magnolias on the tree (neither can be found in Montana where we came from). Great place. Would stay again if I ever return to the area!

The apartment was easy to find, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. We stayed at this house for two nights to celebrate my daughter’s 15th birthday and it was awesome! My daughter and her friends enjoyed kicking their soccer ball around the patio, playing the patio games, hopping in the hot tub, sunbathing, and relaxing. They also enjoyed s’mores over the firepit at night and even got to see fireworks going off in the distance over the water. So many great memories were made. We will be back someday but next time we’ll bring along my husband and son, too!

We stayed with Wayne and Kathleen for three nights and loved our stay. Its a cozy cottage that sits above a beautiful, whimsical garden. We actually bumped into Wayne a couple times - great guy who made us feel right at home if we needed something but didnt hover - the perfect balance! This couple has loaded this place with all the amenities you could ask for. We felt like we were staying at a upstate new england B&B. Highly recommended, we hope to stay again!

We absolutely loved staying at Kate's house on the river. The house itself is great. Its clean, has cute decor, and is very comfortable. The views of the river cannot be beat. Kate was wonderful to work with and responded thoroughly and quickly every time I had a question. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend this this place to anyone.

Was a perfect family retreat while visiting our kids at UD. We were able to cook together in well stocked kitchen, enjoy beautiful lake views, sunsets, kayak and relax around campfire. Hope to be back soon.

This house was perfect for our annual girls weekend! Gorgeous decor that looks brand new. Spotless kitchen equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals (even a crock pot). Plentiful dishes, glasses, and pots and pans. Furniture and bedding was so comfy and the porch was our favorite place. Peaceful and quiet - even woke up to a bald eagle sitting on a branch outside my bedroom window. We traveled 30 min to the Farmers market in Chestertown on Saturday and had great Indian food in Middletown. We all agreed we would come again.

Lovely! Just as described, plus allllll the things you’d need for young kids. Toys, games, stuffies, toddler table, utensils, etc. Bunk room is adorable. Front porch is wonderful. 6 min walk to beach is easy and lovely, even when chilly— the girls loved to play in the cold sand. Already booked again for fall!

Absolutely outstanding. The pictures do not do justice for the actual beauty of the home. Everything you need is there, the house is pristine in every way. I look forward to exploring more locations from the super host, Brad.

This house is so cute. Perfectly decorated, very warm and welcoming. It's perfectly situated and is walking distance to everything. We enjoyed sitting on the porches and people watching. This was our second time and we hope to stay here again the next time we plan to travel to Chesapeake City.
