Amazing! We actually we upgraded from The Birch to The Juniper at last minute. Here is why: there is a beautiful family of foxes including babies near the Birch cabin. We all were in agreeance to keep wild animals wild & also try to reduce stress on the mom. We happily agreed with Chuck on this perspective and we're pleasantly surprised to be offered an upgrade. The property is beautiful. We could see both front & back bays from our cabin. We borrowed a canoe and took off for the afternoon. We walked up the hydro line path. We sat on the porch and dock and just listened to nature. The cabin had everything. Plenty of HOT water with great pressure for showers. Windows that open with screens for air flow. We didn't sleep in the loft but did discuss how lovely a July eve would be with the top windows open letting the wind rip across loft. Everything you need in the kitchen to make a decent meal. HUGE dining table for meals or games. I can't say enough positives as keep running out of sp

We enjoyed our stay! The rustic cabin feel was just what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back. The host was very helpful and responsive.

Great winter getaway. The cottage was cute, cozy and clean! The description of the cottage doesn’t do it justice as there are four nice bedrooms (the fourth one is just tough to see in the pictures) and although the water isn’t potable, there were jugs already there for us upon arrival. Only thing missing was a coffee maker, but otherwise wonderful stay!

Cabin Bjorn was everything we expected - and more! Set on a beautiful property surrounded by tall trees and the Irondale River, it truly is a slice of paradise. We were so fortunate to spend four days here, relaxing and unwinding. Cassidy’s a fantastic host and we hope to be back this summer!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

What a great little cabin to spend a cozy weekend! Waking up to such beautiful views of the lake it's just something else. We loved the hot tub overlooking the lake while it snowed. The fireplace by the bay window it's just so cozy. Charlotte let us stay a little longer because we arrived late, she was really kind and thoughtful! Highly recommended to escape the hustle of the city for a few days and disconnect!

Beautiful and private cabin on a large and beautiful property. Very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Would definitely love to return!

I had a great time staying here and have already looked at when I can come back. It was beautiful and so peaceful. The view was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The bed was super comfortable as well. The door was a little difficult to get into the first time but he gave instructions on how to get in another way. Loved the little touches like leaving a treat for my dog and also having extra dog toys.

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Mike & Rosa offer a serene place in the middle of nature with beautiful views and luxurious amenities in and around the cabin. We have had the pleasure of staying here for two nights and we loved every second of it. Mike and Rosa were very responsive and offered great advice on what to do in the area and we're even able to accommodate any special wishes. Canoeing on the Semi-private lake was great fun and lighting a camp fire in the evenings just completed the experience. We loved it here and are already looking forward to visiting again at some point in the future.

Our stay was amazing! We went in the beginning of October and there was hardly anyone there. The environment was absolutely stunning, the fall rhapsody was in full effect. There also was a tone of stuff to do, like a dog park, hiking, canoeing, badminton, etc. the cabin itself was small but very cozy. Just remember to bring warm clothes and bedding if you go in the fall because there is just a small heater. We were very comfortable though. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Jeff and Jen were amazing hosts! Try friendly, super helpful! The cottage was absolutely perfect. Just what we needed for a peaceful weekend with friends away from the city. It is right in the water and my golden retriever was super happy about that. The beds and furniture were clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was in the kitchen and the one thing we couldn’t find (just coffee filters) were provided to us right away. Had a cozy fire the last night and made the perfect s’mores. I will definitely be booking this again, for a longer period and when it’s warm enough for me to go swimming with my dog! Thank you for being the perfect hosts!

Christine’s place was absolutely beautiful and literally perfect for a cottage long weekend. the pictures don’t even do it justice. the dock out looked such a beautiful lake, great for water activities!! the beds worked out perfectly for 5 people, thought u could definitely fit 7, maybe 8. the kitchen was equipped with quite enough, and the bathroom had sanitary products which was so convenient. there’s also a soft tub which was super warm and so relaxing, and an entire bar room with darts overlooking the water! we had so so so much fun here and it was seriously such a beautiful cottage, don’t let the lack of reviews fool you!! absolutely loved this so much:)

We loved our stay at Hailee’s cabin! The location was remote, peaceful, clean, and well decorated, exactly as described. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive at all times. The river is too low for swimming, probably due to lack of rain this season. We were there to enjoy the crisp fall weather and fire place, so it wasn’t an issue for us, just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a place to swim every day in the summer. Overall, a great place to stay and a wonderful change of pace being off the grid!

5/5 – Peaceful Stay with a Great Host We had an amazing stay! The space was spotless, matched the photos perfectly, and felt quiet and relaxing. Brooke was super friendly, quick to communicate, and handled everything with care—including a shower issue that came up right before our arrival, which she sorted promptly and even refunded us for—above and beyond! The bed was really comfortable, and having reliable Wi-Fi was a big bonus, especially with spotty cell service in the area. We’d definitely stay again!

This Airbnb is such a hidden gem! Located within the resort you are surrounded by super friendly folks but have enough space in the cottage and in your private fire pit to have some great time with your guests! The host was very responsive and made sure we knew about the corn roast and BBQ (which was phenomenal). Tons of activities and the view was so lovely. Never seen so many stars in my life. The host was also so fast to accommodate us when the wifi had connection issues and dealt with it in a very fast timely manner and it was smooth sailing from there. Definitely on my list to return to!

The cabin is in a wonderful secluded part of the woods. The stream running nearby is the cherry in top for serenity and ultimate peace. John and Steohanie were super friendly and helpful in getting me the fireplace started as it was still quite chilly some days and nights. The cabin is very cozy, comes with all necessary amenities. I definitely packed extra but there were utensils, pots and pans, propane stove top, bbq, a propane fridge and cozy comforters and linen on the beds. They even had coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and kettle for hot water. They have definitely thought it out well. The outhouse was also clean and well maintained. Visit from Nugget was also a great surprise and nice to have moments of some company in the wilderness. I had saved some burger for Nugget but sadly, didn't see her again. Oh well. Def would visit again! Next time would love to meet Nova! :)

The cabin was the perfect home away from home. Well thought out place and supplied with everything we needed. Buy a few groceries to prepare in the beautiful kitchen and you dont need to leave once you get there. Nice and quiet, fairly secluded, surrounded by trees and creeks to walk to and enjoy nature. Returning to the house for the spa like shower, sauna and soaker tub made our stay most relaxing. Natasha was great to communicate with and super helpful with anything we needed to know ahead of time. We would definitely stay again.

The Barndo is a true gem! If you like what you see on the listing you won't be disappointed. The kitchen is fully equipped and totally functional, the wood stove and sauna are both well maintained, the bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom, office space and living area are exactly what you need them to be. The space is clean, charming, nicely decorated and I appreciated the attention to detail and quality throughout. Cathy seems to have thought of everything, and has created an easy, peaceful space that makes for a perfectly comfortable stay. We're already planning our next trip!

The Forest House is a magical gem of creativity and tranquility. The property inspired at every turn and hill, and the labyrinth was a mesmerizing maze. Wintergreen’s values of environmental sustainability and co-existence with nature made this stay a homage as well as a holiday. Thank you for sharing this space.

Jennifer was a phenomenal hostess!! She was easily reachable and communicated frequently leading up to and during our visit. The cabin is beautiful and so peaceful. There was a welcome book with all kinds of tips and things to do. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!!
