This 1 bedroom/1 bath private home was originally a historic Sinclair gas station. Renovated in 2023, we’ve kept as much of the original building’s elements as possible while restoring it to create both a unique and relaxing experience. The bay area has been converted into a living/sleeping space that includes a TV & seating area as well as two queen-sized beds and a sleeper sofa. The former office space now features a full kitchen. A back patio, firepit, washer & dryer are all located on site.

We have everything you need if you want to cook in or you have many options to grab food just 5 minutes from the house. We also have many great places for local shopping and sight seeing if interested. We have ceiling fans in all the rooms! A storm cellar is also in the backyard in the event of a storm.

The history behind this cottage will bring you back to the 1940's when it was used as part of the attached Fairview Floral Wholesale Co. The separate drive and front entrance, leading all the way to the backyard, mimics a shotgun style house. Its charm and unique history will make your stay one to remember.

If you are coming in from the city and just need to hear silence for a day or two, working in town but want your own space, bringing a family together for vacation/holidays or a couple that just needs a weekend away to reconnect. *It does have a 4 mile stretch of dirt road.
