Sunny and quiet basement apartment that is approximately 500 square feet, and a private entrance. We live up stairs, but you will have privacy once you have checked in. The apartment is about 1.3 miles from the University of Maryland, seven miles from DC, a short walk to Metro and other public transportation. Shopping, restaurants, the Beltway and outdoor recreation are minutes away. Guest has use of patio with table and chairs and a large back yard to sit and enjoy in good weather.

Our home is just three blocks from the Takoma Metro station, offering city convenience with the charm of the Takoma neighborhood. We’re renting a modern, recently renovated private basement suite with its own entrance and patio. It includes a living area, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen (induction cooktop, microwave, fridge, kettle, and coffee maker). Enjoy the outdoor patio with a grill and seating area. Free street parking available.

You get everything you see in the pictures, a private suite ready to welcome a last-minute reservation. If you need to check in early or check out late, the host will try to accommodate you when possible. A $70 extra fee applies for a guest who wants to use the second bedroom. It is currently used to keep bedding and linen. It remains locked. The host will always knock or text before entering the living room on the first floor.

Nuestra casa esta una cuadrada y media del metro Petworth (lineas verdes y amarillas) y los buses 70s/60s/50s. Estamos una cuadrada del supermercado y tres cuadras de un mercado organico. Se puede caminar al calle Upshur para visitar nuestros restaurantes, libreria, tienda de ropa, cafe, y bares. En menos que diez minutos, se puede caminar al calle 11 y 14 para comer y tomar en Columbia Heights.
