I was in town to house-hunt for a move to New Bern. Hosts were very helpful when I had to extend my stay and accidentally locked my keys in the cottage. I would highly recommend this cottage rental to others.

Well appointed property in a quite walkable neighborhood. A short 5 minute drive to downtown New Bern.

Absolutely love this house and where it’s located! Close enough to still doordash or get somewhere relatively quick but far enough to feel safe and peaceful in a nice little neighborhood. I can see myself definitely returning to stay in the future.

Tony and Jeanne were wonderful, responsive hosts and their house was perfect! It was beautifully decorated, with comfortable furniture and an amazingly well stocked kitchen! The view from the back porch across the water was so peaceful. Check in was easy and the location was just right. We visited the area to see the swans and snow geese as they gather in their wintering location and were treated to quite a display! Thousands of birds at Lake Mattamuskeet and Pungo Lake! We would love to come again and stay in this house, in warmer weather or cold! Well worth the trip! Thank you Tony and Jeanne!

We came for the beaches, but the house ended up being the best part of our stay! It was homey, comfortable, and very clean. The house had everything we needed, and even things we didnt know we needed (heated towel rack!). A very peaceful, restful place with a great view of the sunrise and lots of cozy places to relax. The game room was a hit with my teenager. Audrianna was helpful and communicative. Would definitely stay here again!

The family met at Jim’s place to celebrate an early Christmas together. There was room for all of us. The kitchen contained all the necessary essentials. The town of Washington provided excellent choices for a dinner or two. I don’t doubt my choice in choosing Jim’s airbnb!
