Our secret cabin "Eleanor" treats people all year long. Built on stilts like a tree house, and in the pines, it has a private campfire area supplied with firewood and landscaped with boulders. The balcony keeps you close to nature and the fireplace keeps you warm. There are 200 acres to roam and trails, a little fishing and paddling lake. The cabin sleeps 4 max, has a full kitchen and is secluded in the forest. There is some additional lodging in a separate location on the Black Lantern property

Northern mn log cabin getaway!

This is a unique property, which is part of our fourth-generation family-owned farm. The cabin is newly remodeled, it was built in the late 1990's. The exterior walls are an 8 in square cut log. We have updated all rooms on the main level. This cabin has the feel of an old rustic cabin in the mid of nowhere, but has all the luxury of a new home. Currently it is a beautiful 2 bedroom cabin with 1 bath. It is nestled on 397 acres with the nearest neighbor a 1/2 mile away, and only 5 mi from town!

The Farm By The Lake - The Cedar Cabin

The Cedar Cabin is a remote sleeper cabin open in the spring, summer and falls months. It is a seasonal cabin with a bath house, 50 yards down a trail, for showers and toilets. Air conditioner, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot are included. It can sleep 4 with a full over full bunk bed. It has a fire ring and charcoal grill outside. It is very small and intended for those who like to camp out but also like shelter from the elements. It has a cute porch to enjoy the outdoors.

Cox Lake near Itasca State Park - Rustic Cabin

This rustic off-grid cabin on a quiet lake is very close to Itasca State Park (15-20 min drive), hiking trails, biking trails, ATV trails, fishing, boating, and swimming. You’ll love my place because of its' rustic luxury, beautiful quiet lake, and it is miles into the woods. A unique experience suitable for couples looking for a neat adventure and families looking for a big step up from camping in a tent. NOTE: This is an off-grid cabin! Outhouse, no power or running water.

Secluded Getaway 1 Mile into the Woods

Total privacy, this scenic cabin is 1.3 miles back into the woods sitting on 40 acres of woods with a small lake and lots of wildlife. Its an eagle lovers paradise there are three eagle nests within 1/2 mile of the cabin. Enjoy the many walking trails around the property. This is also a snowmobilers haven, the trail is less than one mile away and is hooked up to the main trails for endless riding. Fishing in the area is the best in the state with lots of lakes close by.

Welcome to the Farm. This is a newly constructed, single level home, conveniently located near Itasca State Park, Long Lake, La Salle Lake State Recreation Area, Off Grid Armory and more. Grab groceries on your way in and spend the day enjoying some of the many outdoor adventures that northern Minnesota has to offer. In the evenings, relax with a bonfire on one of the two patios and watch for wildlife, including cows out in the pasture.
