We had an absolutely fantastic time here. Would highly recommend. The house was spotless, very well kept. The beds were all extremely comfortable, all with fresh linen. The view was amazing. The house is right on the water. The gardens and estate was an excellent place to go for a wander and explore. Paul was an excellent host. We cant wait to come back again

La maison de John est superbe. Tout y est prévu pour que vous vous sentiez à l’aise dans une ambiance cosy et chaleureuse. Le site est vraiment exceptionnel. D’un calme et d’une beauté incroyables. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La cheminée est un super plus ! Nous avons profité de tous les avantages de la maison, sauna et balnéothérapie, c’était vraiment très appréciable. Tomas, le concierge, était vraiment super sympathique, disponible et utile pour nous conseiller sur les atouts de la péninsule de Beara et les restaurants. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir rapidement chez John ! Nous recommandons +++++++ sa belle demeure ! Merci !

Un petit atelier tout en vous sculpté dans un magnifique coin de nature. Des hôtes très discrets, très prévenants (merci pour le pain, les roses…) et très disponibles si vous avez besoin d’eux. Merci beaucoup !

Wir waren mit 2 Familien und Hund in Peters Unterkunft und hatten eine tolle Zeit, großzügige und sehr gute Aufteilung des Hauses, sehr schnelle und unkomplizierte Kommunikation, wir hatten eine rundum tolle Zeit! Fussläufig zum gemütlichen Städchen, kostenlose Mitnutzung des Hotelpools möglich und auch das Frühstück im Hotel hat ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a lovely stay and felt very safe. The house was lovely and spacious. Very comfortable beds and very quiet. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. Blathnaid was a great host and responded to a question from us within minutes.

Magical views can hardly do justice to the setting of this house. The expansive view over the sea to distant hills is quite exquisite, the peace and silence go deep inside you. We spent many hours just sitting outside in the lovely garden drinking it all in. The house itself is a delight – full of artistic touches created from nature by the owner Birgit. Spotlessly clean with lots of comfortable beds. The upstairs bedroom in the extension has a huge window with panoramic views out over the bay and below it is a large yoga room with lovely views for any activity you choose – the bi-fold doors open out onto a large terrace. Birgit has clearly thought of everything you might need – from organic hand soaps in each of the three bathrooms to an extraordinarily well-equipped cook’s kitchen, including herbs and spices and teas. As if all this wasn’t enough, there is also an outdoor wooden sauna in the garden and a stream-fed natural pond that you can plunge into after the sauna – bliss!

I would give 11 out of 10 if I could. The home is so stylish and comfortably furnished, and feels very luxurious. Whatever the weather here, the views across the bay were always fabulous and ever changing. I had arrived with high expectations which it totally met and indeed surpassed. Painful to have to leave. The only consolation was to promise ourselves that we would come back again soon.

This is a modern house in an excellent location. It’s just a few minutes stroll to Kenmare with its many cafes and restaurants / bars, but is also quiet at night. Parking is available outside the door alongside EV charging points. The house has a very well equipped kitchen with all the usual utensils etc. Basics such as oil and seasoning's were also available. There were little touches with pictures and ornaments which really added to the homely feel. The beds were comfortable while the showers in the bathroom and en-suite were powerful. We enjoyed using the garden furniture during the warm sunny weather, while knowing the garden was enclosed was great for our small dog (and us)! Use of the hotel leisure facilities was an added bonus. Communication with John was excellent. Self check-in and out was seamless. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this great house. Many thanks for hosting us.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The place was exactly what we were looking for. Eamonn was one of the most attentive and proactive hosts. Ten out of ten would recommend this place to anyone pacing through Mallow.

Gorgeous place in a nice, quiet area in west Cork. If you want a place to stay away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to see so many things, Pat’s place is it! It is quaint and cozy and disconnected! Don’t plan on doing a lot of screen time (internet connectivity is not the best), but that is the beauty of this stay! Beds comfortable and the best sun porch for breakfast or an afternoon nap! Will stay here again!

Very nice house in a lovely setting. There were only 5 of us that stayed for just 1 night, but the house is set up to host many more people. Wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely meeting Mary who met us at the house and made sure we were got in ok and to let her know if we needed anything. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would recommend to others.

Anne was extremely responsive and friendly. She was so easy to deal with and we had a wonderful stay in her house. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting West Cork. We will be back again . Cheers

from start to finish could not complain house was everything you needed for a few days away super clean and everything as listed so close to everything pubs food and shops host was 100% to deal with would highly recommend and will be staying again when down that way

Perfect home for a family gathering. Absolutely gorgeous scenery and easy access to all the sights! Nicely appointed kitchen. Loved, and would definitely come back.

Lovely, refurbished cottage in natural surroundings on the Beara Peninsula. We enjoyed a visit to the Buddhist monastery, a cable car trip to Dursey Island, fishing for pollock, home cooking and a movie night at the fireplace, super quiet nights. Sheila and Andy were flexible, lovely and helpful.

The house is quirky and Maureen is a warm and welcoming host!

Rosy and Tim are terrific host that understand the true nature of hospitality. I was able to glean insights to the community as a place to live, share a delicious (gluten free) meal with Tim, Rosy and other family members and discuss common interest like music and literature. It felt like staying with family that you actually get along with. The Dingle Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places in Ireland, and from my experiences there (Thanks to Tim’s suggestion) I was able to experience sights I may not have.

We booked for 3 engineers working local to the home who travel all over Ireland and they said this was by far the best place they have stayed in. Location was amazing for a walk in the evening and they have requested to stay there again when they return to work in the area.

Brilliant property, great location, fab views, well equipped and cosy. We had a great long weekend with my parents in law, was very accessible for my disabled mum in law as there was a fabulous downstairs en-suite bedroom . Anne Marie was so helpful and responded really quickly to any questions we had. We can’t wait to go back again soon.

The holiday started well as we were greeted by Maureen who gave us a warm reception and showed us around the property. The property is amazing, and it is stylishly furnished and equipped with all manner of household items including hundreds of toys which occupied our granddaughter throughout the week. The property is located on a hill with panoramic views, and we enjoyed watching the sunsets every evening. We were fortunate with the weather which was dry but, in any event, there was plenty to occupy ourselves with within the property including a television and various equipment such as the dishwasher and washing machine which made our life quite easy. We also appreciated the beach equipment including chairs which helped us to enjoy the seaside which we visited virtually every day. This was undoubtedly the best holiday property we have experienced, and we are likely to return again next year for more of the same.

Un'accoglienza da 5 stelle: colazione con muffin e pane fatto in casa; casa spaziosa piena di tutti i confort; camere da letto a tema apprezzate da noi adulti e dai ragazzi; un giardino che purtroppo non abbiamo utilizzato; a 10 metri un area comune affacciata sull'insenatura di Kenmare; Ci siamo sentiti come se fossimo a casa nostra ma in più coccolati!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Johna B&B . The location is perfect ,just a short walk to the town centre and the place is spotless. John, the host, was super helpful, and there’s plenty of parking on-site. The space is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and there are thoughtful touches like coffee supplies in the morning. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay while exploring Killarney!
