The cottage is in an unparallelled location just 150 yards from "the best bit" of Hadrians Wall at Walltown Crags and directly opposite the Roman Army Museum. There is a bus stop right (services include AD122) outside. We are perfectly located for walking, visiting the sites along Hadrians Wall, stargazing events at Walltown & Twice Brewed as well as visiting the lakes & Scottish Borders

Whitchester farm cottage is an attractive, traditional fully furnished cottage situated on a family working dairy farm. It is located In a rural picturesque area of west Northumberland. We are situated just one mile away from the town of Haltwhistle also renowned as “the centre of Britain” and all its amenities. 10 minutes from Hadrian’s wall also known as the Roman wall spanning 73 miles of the country Northumberland holds the longest stretch of this amazing English heritage. Walkers paradise.

Stonecrop is a much loved cottage and enjoys a tranquil setting with a large, attractive garden, situated in a stunning part of Northumberland. Guests are welcome to wander through our adjoining field to reach the banks of the river South Tyne. It was built in 1760 and has retained its original character whilst benefiting from all mod cons. Many guests return year after year and dogs are welcome too. Stonecrop is within easy reach of Hadrian’s Wall, the Yorkshire Dales, the Borders and Lakes.

All just minutes from Hadrian's Wall. Explore wonderful Northumberland, the Lake District to the West is an easy drive as is the Pennines to the South and Scotland to the North.

Dyke Cottage, adjacent to a working farm, enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and is perfectly situated to explore the striking Lake District, Hadrian's Wall, the beautiful Eden Valley, the Scottish Borders and unspoilt Cumbria and Northumbria. The Pennine Way literally skirts the garden walls, making it the perfect place to get away from it all. The Cottage also includes 2 x fishing rods with Prince Albert Fishing Association and is located close to the C2C cycling route.

Our new handcrafted shepherds hut has en-suite facilities and underfloor heating. It has an enclosed patio with seats and a chiminea. We are situated in a very quiet part of Northumberland with excellent walking and cycling from site. The Pennine way is a field away, we have disused railway lines with viaduct and riverside walks. Nearby is the market town of Alston, Penrith and the north lakes, Barnard Castle in Teasdale. Stanhope in Weardale. Hadrian's wall, Hexham, Brampton and Carlisle
