Beautiful large gardens, huge house ideal for large groups. Lovely kitchen and dining areas. Rooms are large and comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring the main Fig area. Unfortunately there were 2 things not disclosed in the listing: Host lives on the property with his family and dog. Although they were on one side of the house, it was unexpected.

Espaço super limpo e acolhedor, zona tranquila. O Sr. Ricardo foi bastante atencioso ao esperar por nós para fazer o check-in mais tarde da hora combinada, devido a um imprevisto com a nossa filha. A casa estava super bem equipada e disponibilizaram-nos café para a máquina, o qual agradecemos! Super recomendo!

This apartment was a great choice to spend some days in Figueira de Foz. It was spacious (even more than what it look in the pictures) and clean. It was close to beach promenade, supermarkets and restaurants, specially a very good "pastelaria", which is a must in Portugal. Andrea was very nice and prompt in providing help and I can only recommend her as a host.

Isilda ha sido una gran anfitriona, atenta y amable. La casa es tal y como la describe. Éramos 8 pero hemos estado muy cómodos y no hemos echado de menos nada. Respecto a la zona no la conocíamos y nos ha gustado, tranquila pero con varios restaurantes y chiringuitos en los que hemos comido bastante bien.

Très agréable séjour. Hôtes très accueillants, à l’écoute. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par ce que propose le logement, qui est d’une extrême propreté, spacieux. L’extérieur est juste superbe également (vélo à disposition) et le coin piscine est juste formidable. Adresse que nous saurons garder et qui sera notre pied à terre si l’occasion se présentait.

Een mooi, gezellig en ruim appartement met een geweldig balkon en uitzicht! Een bezoek aan de universiteit is de moeite waard!

Adri and Petra are wonderful hosts. They greeted us personally, provided great information and were very generous and kind. We wish we could have stayed longer, as their place is beautiful. We were surrounded by nature, right in the middle of stunning mountains and hills. It was tranquil and peaceful and great for taking long dog walks or hikes. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Ótima estadia na Casa do Vale, a vista da casa é de tirar o fôlego, a laranjeira dá ótimos frutos para sumos matinais, a casa tem muita personalidade e conta com tudo que precisamos para um fim de semana de relaxamento. Adorei o fato de terem, inclusive, brinquedos para criança. Recomendo 100%.

The apartment was fantastic. It was right in the center of Coimbra within walking distance to everything. The apartment is beautiful and fully equipped. The communication was fantastic, and Romeu provided great recommendations on restaurants and other excursions. I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to others..

This is a great space in a real out-of-the-way part of Portugal. Tired of big city tourism? Try this property. Tiny villages dot the hills and you get an old world sense of Portugal here. The pool is the real star of the property here (as are Eric's three dogs, one of which lounged with us each morning) as it overlooks he view of the river. We did use the kayaks as well. It is hard to get to them down a very steep hill with ladders and a bit of minor repelling. Not for those with a bad knee or hip. Which gets me to, accessing the apartments, particularly the lower unit, is tricky. Steep, slanting and uneven steps that can be a little slippery. Perhaps not for the elderly. Hint for improvement would be to upgrade the furnishings and kitchenware. The knives couldn't cut an orange.

Our thanks to the wonderful hosts Alice & Christian This cosy and charming house is located in the Beira Baixa region, nestled in the hills of rural Portugal. All amenities were faultless and immaculate enabling us to enjoy our stay here very much. Whilst the area is lesser known for tourism it offers a glimpse of the tranquility that pervades life here. The surrounding villages and exploration offer a lot to enjoy if you appreciate nature, a relaxed pace of life and space. The house is also close to the beautiful Rio Zêzere. Recommend this property, place and hosts.

Es war wie im Paradies, tolle Unterkunft die man jedem empfehlen kann. Die Managerin Rosie hat sich auch toll um einen gekümmert, es gab Wein und selbstgemachte Marmeladen. Im garten konnte man frische Orangen und Zitronen pflücken. Leider war die Zeit zu kurz, man kann es hier bei gutem Wetter eine Woche oder länger genießen 😌 Klares 5 Sterne Schmuckstück, gerne wieder

Eugene was an amazing host, having helped my family get to the accomodation without any problems and always being in touch whenever it was needed and the language barrier wasn't ever an issue as Eugene was able to understand portuguese. Unfortunately due to work I wasn't able to meet such a great human being that made sure to ask how I was to my family, but I can assure that if the opportunity presents itself I wouldn't hesitate to book again and meet him. From my family's description I could say the house is bigger than it looks on the photos, being a great space for some peace and quiet rural family vacations! I reccommend Eugene's listing as a great option if you are looking for a cheap, quiet and family-oriented house.

Casa fantástica, muito espaçosa, com uma vista linda.

Thank you Liesbet and João, for the beautiful place to get away and relax surrounded by animals and nature. No city lights so a great place for seeing the stars at night. Liesbet is a very gracious and helpful hostess, great communication. Enjoyed a fantastic horseback ride around the area lead by Joao, a magical ride! Far enough away for a few days or weeks of relaxation surrounded by nature, but it also allows you to do some sightseeing. In an hour drive you can be in Coímbra or Aveiro. Also, nearby you have all kinds of services like restaurants or supermarkets.

We stayed in one of the cottages at the highest point with a beautiful view of the campsite and the high rocks that also belong to the campsite. A beautiful place, even more beautiful than in the pictures. Here you can really relax. The children enjoyed themselves in the ecological swimming pool (among the fish and frogs) and on the trampoline with other children. Jeroen and Linzie do everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible. One real recommendation!

A casa da Alice, na Rua dos Bonitos, é um espaço com todas as comodidades, resguardado, com área verde e uma piscina fantástica. Tanto a Alice como a Regina são sempre disponíveis e amáveis. Um sítio onde apetece sempre voltar!

O espaço é maravilhoso! Muita paz e tranquilidade. O espaço tem todas as comodidades para termos umas belas férias no campo. A recepção dos anfitriões é fantástica, muito simpáticos e prestáveis em todos os sentidos. O espaço é amplo, luminoso, bem cheiroso e limpo. A piscina é fantástica e dispõe de um alpendre para quem não quiser ficar ao sol. Os cães são amorosos e simpáticos. Sem dúvida um sítio a voltar pois trata-se de um pequeno pedaço do paraíso. Um bem haja, recomendo a toda a gente. The space is wonderful! Much peace and tranquility. The space has all the amenities to have a beautiful vacation in the countryside. The hosts reception is fantastic, very friendly and helpful in every way. The space is spacious, bright, smelling good and clean. The pool is fantastic and has a porch for those who don't want to stay in the sun. Dogs are loving and friendly. Definitely a place to come back as it is a little piece of paradise. All the best, I recommend it to everyone.
