Suzanne’s studio is such a wonderful stay! The views are spectacular and peaceful and the studio itself is very cosy and tastefully decorated! The bed is also very comfy! Bonus points as we were able to spot the local koala on our last morning! Would definitely recommend 🤗

I recently stayed at a stunning hillside Airbnb, and it was nothing short of magical. Nestled on a quiet, private hill, the property offered the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. The views from the house were absolutely breathtaking—lush greenery surrounded the area, and every morning I was greeted with the sound of birds chirping and the peaceful sight of the sun rising over the hills. The home itself was beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. It felt cozy yet spacious, with large windows that allowed natural light to pour in and provide panoramic views of the landscape. I loved the outdoor space, which included a private deck perfect for sipping coffee while watching the sunset. What truly set this Airbnb apart, though, was the sense of tranquility. The only sounds were the breeze and nature, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring everything was in place

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property in Apollo Bay !Nestled in the peaceful countryside. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The large outdoor deck was a real highlight - perfect for relaxing with a barbecue while taking in the stunning surroundings and enjoying a glass of wine. We even had a special visitor from a koala 🐨 in a nearby tree which made the stay even feel more magical. The home was clean comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a serene and memorable stay in nature.

Second time back here and had a very peaceful & relaxing week with the kids and Grandparents. Beach easy walking distance and Apollo Bay is a short drive away for all the nice cafes, shops and other beaches. We loved the chiminea on the deck and lunches out there when the weather was nice. A wood pile would be great as we did run out! The place is very quiet and feels like you are staying amongst nature with all the surrounding trees and birds. Worth checking out is the Fisherman's Co-Op in Apollo Bay, the seafood platter was amazing! We can definitely recommend a stay at this place.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning—definitely one of the highlights. The deck was beautiful and a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall, the place was clean and cozy. One small thing to note: there weren’t a lot of dishes available, and a few had some stains. But aside from that, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay at Glen View as a stopover during our Melbourne to Adelaide journey on the Great Ocean Road. Johanna is a truly beautiful section of the GOR where rolling green hills and farmlands meet the ocean. The cottage is delightfully laid out and well provisioned, with quality bedding and toiletries, a lovely fire-place and a shed full of wood (and reverse cycle a/c for the summer months and the impatient!) A visit to the chicken shed to collect farm fresh eggs and the orchard for some lemons was a nice treat for us suburbanites! The kitchen is fully functional with pretty much all equipment you could need, including a coffee machine. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!!

A great choice for families with teenagers - there were enough beds for my kids to each bring a friend and they all made good use of the pool and games room. Their only complaint was about the rather steep walk back to the cottage, which may challenge some. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful forest views, and the kitchen well-appointed - if there was any utensil I couldn't find or if a condiment ran out Nicole arranged for it to be delivered immediately. We enjoyed walks around the property, mountain biking, beach days and golf in Lorne and visited Sheoak Falls. A relaxing and fun long weekend.

Three generations of my family returned to make some more wonderful memories. The views are gorgeous. The kids love running around the property, bouncing on the trampoline and even going for a dip in the pool. We LOVE staying here!

We had a wonderful time staying at Seaview Apollo Bay. The house had everything you needed and more. Hiring linen was an easy. Although GOR holiday letting sent through lots of information, was very hard to contact when needed to ask things. Would have been better if run by a local team. We would definitely book again.

Had really nice stay at Johanna Seaside Cottages 'Farm House', was the perfect country escape we were looking for and the kids loved collecting fresh laid eggs in the morning and having access to an indoor heated pool. Only minor complaint was not being able to connect to the internet Friday evening and not being able contact our host after 5pm. That said, the property caretake (Ben) was super helpful when he checked in the next day. Would definitely recommend if looking for a country escape along the coast.

We have enjoyed a very peaceful week in Joanna Cottage. Despite a couple of stormy nights, we felt cozy and warm inside in front of the log fire. Such a stunning view! I loved visiting the hens for a couple of fresh eggs, and there was everything we needed inside the cottage to make for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were always available to help us with any questions. A wonderful place to stay.

We had a lovely stay celebrating our wedding anniversary. Pool was lovely and we loved the gym and the sauna ($35 per session) set in nature watching the birds in the trees was a fantastic way to start the day. Wild life in the area was amazing, wallabies, echidna, kookaburra to name a few. The cottage was great, a second air con would be helpful as the first days were very hot and the one aircon was located in just one bedroom. Linen is fresh, decor lovely and the beds were nice and large (I do prefer a softer mattress but that is just personal preference). The second toilet was great for a family. Gentle Annie on Friday night is great and was a great way to celebrate. I liked the touches such as shampoo, conditioner, soaps, air freshener were beautiful. Lovely T2, bottle of bubbles and delicious jam were a pleasant surprise. We had a great stay and will be back! Thank you

Wow! This place is amazing. We were a family group of 10. Two families of four and two grandparents. As a group we ranged from highly active to reduced mobility (walker) and it was an ideal environment for us all to explore and reconnect, over and over. There was something for everyone. The swimming pool was brilliant and it was a real treat to be swimming and looking at sheep and horses grazing in the paddock, with rolling hills and bush beyond. The kitchen was great and the dining table fit us all, so we enjoyed dinner around the table together each night after bushwalking the various tracks. We thought three nights would be enough to do everything as the property looked to be reasonably remote, but we were wrong. There is so much to explore in the local towns and within the property. We loved it so much that we are already booking again for next year! Highly recommend if you want space to relax, bushwalk, and reconnect with loved ones. I could say more but I've run out of words!

Had a great stay in Forrest over Easter. The house was great - clean and comfortable and with everything we needed for a relaxing time. The location is perfect - just near the Forrest Brewery (which was a delight to visit) and the General Store. The Autumn leaves made everything very picturesque around the place and there were even koalas in the trees up the road! Looking forward to returning!

This is my second time staying at Roost and it is just breathtaking! Incredibly dog friendly, perfect setting, walk up the beach at Johanna to the rock pools. Two mumma koalas with babies right at the doorstep, Gang Gang cockatoo munching by the kitchen window. Can’t ask for more!

Fantastic location and a beautiful family home! The layout was perfect for relaxation, and the pool table on the first floor was a big hit, as was the spacious balcony. The house was well-equipped with everything needed for adults, a child, our dog. We also loved greeting the Koala in its tree every time we passed by. Leanne was an excellent communicator, responding within minutes. We truly enjoyed our stay—thank you, Leanne!

Place was accurately described in photos. The view is beautiful and the location next to a dog friendly beach was great.

We had a comfortable one night stay at Tanya’s place with our pooch. The place is well set up for dogs with a fully fenced yard. We enjoyed listening to waves and waking up to a lovely view of the sea through the gum trees. The place is well set up for wheelchair access with a ramp, wide doorways, flat walk-in shower and spacious layout. The place is in a great location with just a short walk to the beach.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Gareth and Meagan’s holiday house in Marengo. The home was beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The views were absolutely stunning, waking up to the sound of the ocean. The house was spacious and family friendly, with a great layout that gave everyone their own space to unwind. We also appreciated the well equipped kitchen and cozy lounge area Highly recommend staying here if you’re heading to the Great Ocean Road. We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Gillian & Rob’s house, it was very comfortable. Loved that linen & towels were supplied, comfy beds, the gas fireplace was lovely & outdoor warm shower was perfect after the beach! Good location easy walk to the beach & shops.
