Enjoy the peaceful beauty of Central Iowa's rolling hills, prairies, and distant forests while staying in our newly constructed barndominium. Take in the sweeping views, singing birds, and diverse wildlife from the front porch. Cozy up inside by the electric fireplace, enjoy a movie on Roku TV, curl up in the reading nook, utilize the portable desk or get competitive while playing board games. The barn is located behind our house. The driveway is shared with lots of parking next to the barn.

Leann and I are your hosts and our goal is not only to provide you with a clean and safe environment but also the opportunity to create lasting memories with friends and family. Our home is adjacent to Terrace Hills GC and you will find outdoor deck amenities that you will not find at any other Altoona area daily rental; golf course views, hot tub, and fire pit! Located on a beautiful homestead in the 'Bohemie Alps.' Walk up the hill to our 24' yurt, set with beautiful views overlooking the farm and Iowa countryside. Furnished with 2 full/queen beds, pull out couch, clean linens and towels. Set up with electricity and temp control. A true glamping experience in the heartland. Visit with llamas, goats, pigs, horses and hike around the property or stay in for a quiet stay with a good book and enjoy all the sights and sounds. Lots of extra 'add ons'

The Henhouse Retreat is a beautifully restored 2 bedroom home converted from an original henhouse on our property. With breathtaking country views out every window you are sure to find this country retreat relaxing and enjoyable with many things to do close by like fishing, hiking, and a bike trail. Cute little towns to explore or cuddle up with a book & enjoy relaxation that comes with a deep breath in the country. Come as a family, some couples, or a little getaway, this home sleeps 7.

Windy Pines Suite

Windy Pines offers a spacious bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed and large bathroom. The kitchen and living room are great. This clean, comfortable, & uncluttered space is a home away from home! You will be surrounded by beautiful greenery, in a safe neighborhood with accessible parking. Close to interstate 80 & 35, the Iowa State Fair Grounds, and Downtown Des Moines. WP is attached to our home but with its own separate outside entrance. Please send me any questions.

Briarwood Retreat

Lovely remodeled basement apartment located in a quiet neighborhood close to I-35. Newly remodeled apartment has a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and cooking basics. Enjoy an electric fireplace in the living room. The sizable bedroom has a comfy queen bed and a large walk-in closet. A twin size daybed is in the family room. A pack-n-play is available. Enjoy the pool/ping-pong table and TV.
