Sonny was very accomodating, brought in a single bed when requested. Communication was very prompt (: Bungalow had everything we needed, we were out almost everyday and came back to beds that were made, stocked up towels. Highly recommend staying here the best views to wake up to every morning. Thank you Sonny

I booked Sonny’s place at the very last minute. Sonny was responsive to my request and made it super easy for me to check in at the late hour. My little bungalow was a perfect getaway, nothing special except for the view . The bungalow had everything I needed and I also had use of the stand up paddleboard and kayaks! Perfect location, close enough to what you need but also private. Sonny also was very accommodating to my itinerary as I was on a group tour in the am He stored my luggage until I needed to leave for the airport. I will stay here again.

Good value for money. Perfect for a couple on a budget. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and private. Clean and simple. Beautiful view from balcony. Useful pamphlets and maps in the table by TV. Good selection of films on TV. Good working air con. Clean spacious bedroom. Glenn provided 2 towels and soap for bathroom. Working and clean kitchen facility (access via balcony). Provided milk, sugar, water, cooking spices and packet of biscuits. We needed to buy matches to light the bbq but worked well. Wifi was a little unreliable and my Vodophone eSIM did not seem to work so I would avoid if you need access to fast wifi for work/ meetings etc. Charlies Cafe nearby have fast wifi as an alternative. Glenn was a very helpful and kind host. He let us check out late with no extra cost and was helpful when troubleshooting the wifi issue. I would recommend this place to a friend who doesn't mind the odd lizard and appreciates simplicity, privacy and a good view. I would book again!

Had a wonderful stay in Sian's house right next to paradise-like beaches!. She gave great instructions and the communication was good 😊 The location is amazing right next to Muri Beach and restaurants! The house has everything needed for a getaway 😊

Had an amazing time at Aroko Bungalows. Sonny and the staff were wonderful. Place is such great value for money. Location is fantastic, it's so easy to get to Muri and the night markets, the view is gorgeous and you can kayak right off the front yard! We loved our stay, will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Rarotonga!

Wir haben eine Woche mit Jenny und Dr. Roro verbracht; wir können von Glück sprechen diese Unterkunft gefunden zu haben. Jenny und Roro wohnen die direkt neben an und sind sehr gastfreundlich. Sie sind sehr gut vernetzt auf der Insel und können bei allen möglichen Fragen weiterhelfen. Die Unterkunft ist einwandfrei und hat alles was man braucht. Roro hat uns bei der Beschaffung von Motorrädern unterstützt. Zusätzlich hat er mit uns zweimal mit seinem Privatboot eine Tour in der Lagune gemacht. Wer gerne in Kontakt mit den Locals kommen möchte, sollte auf jeden Fall Donnerstags oder Samstags Nachmittags beim Golfclub auf ein Bier und eine Runde Darts vorbeischauen. Sehr nah zu der Unterkunft gelegen ist auch das Avatea-Café was wir sehr empfehlen können. Selbst wenn wir uns eine Woche in einem Luxusresort leisten könnten, würden wir wieder zu Jenny und Roro kommen. Sie sind nun wie eine Familie für uns. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles!

We loved staying at Dawn and Orlando's and will be recommending their place to friends and family. The photos reflect their modern home with great amenities. The house is away from the traffic on the main road and is just a short walk from a beautiful beach on a quieter part of the Island. There is a little bit of noise from neighbors animals including roosters and dogs, but we got used to that, and it is all part of the Rarotonga experience. Dawn and Orlando were very helpful and easy to communicate with.

We absolutely loved our time at Angiangi Secret. It’s such a special, private, relaxing house to stay in. We stayed 9 nights in April and really enjoyed what was our third time in beautiful Aitutaki. This was our first in self catering accommodation. We thought it offered amazing value for money compared to where we’ve previously stayed. It’s clean, tidy with loads of towels and a comfy bed. The full fridge/freezer was great and we managed quite well with just a toaster, electric fry pan and panini maker for cooking. We scootered about (on the scooter that Luke hires out) finding beaches and snorkling locations and had some delicious lunches (at Pacific Resort, Tavaé, Avatea and Koru Cafe) before retreating back to the house for some relaxing afternoons poolside. The view is spectacular. Neibars shop and takeaway just a short walk away was very handy. Luke was a very helpful host and will assist with any questions about the island’s activities. Fantastic Airbnb. Beautiful and private location. Beach is an easy walk away. The exterior and interior is thoughtfully designed to The Cook Islands. We appreciated the little essentials (umbrella, bottle opener, insect spray etc). Aircon was a major plus. Tony is very engaging and makes sure your arrival, stay and departure goes well. Really recommend staying in this tiny home if you want to explore Rarotonga. It’s peaceful and if you grab a scooter it’s super easy to get around. Meitaki Maata, Elle and Cameron

I had an amazing stay at Pascale’s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, Pascale was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Thoughtful touches like fresh towels, local recommendations, and even a few snacks made it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect—quiet yet close to everything. Pascale went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

As we cycled around Rarotonga and glimpsed other accommodation, we repeatedly said to each other “we really picked the best place didn’t we”. Theresa’s place was beautifully modern and tastefully decorated inside, with super hospitality. Wigmore’s store has everything you need just a short stroll away, as are two great restaurants. There is sea life to be seen even waist-deep in the water - but the hosts provide all the gear you need to get in the water. Sadly for us it was a bit windy for most of our stay, so we never got to use the kayaks or venture very far into the lagoon, but we left with a firm intention that there’s nowhere else we’d choose to stay, on a repeat visit. PS take a strong torch down to the beach at night and you can see lots of fish reflecting in the waves – and if you're lucky, one of the amazing orange hermit crabs.

Where to begin with this magical experience. Such a beautiful place and amazing hosts. Hinano and her daughter Terito went way above and beyond for our stay. Beautiful, lovely, people. We felt like family. My only regret was leaving and I just want to come back. When you arrive the house is supplied with basic foods but also a bottle of Mumms!! The snorkeling off the beach amazing. The perfect vacation. Like I said , just want to go back.
