This traditional workers cottage in Eskdale green gives you a wonderfully cosy retreat and an ideal base for exploring. The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys. There is a smart tv and new unlimited WIFI for streaming you favourite films.

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Yewbarrow is a single-storey cottage, ideally located for walking, cycling, sight-seeing or simply relaxing. Situated in the National Park and surrounded by fells such as Scafell Pike and Great Gable, Yewbarrow is in the heart of walking and climbing countryside. The cottage is close to the Cumbrian Coast with St Bees’ long sandy beach and RSPB nature reserve, the historic town of Whitehaven, Muncaster Castle and Ravenglass, with its narrow gauge steam railway which travels to Boot.

Cosy two bedroom holiday let set on a working Herdwick sheep farm situated in the picturesque Wasdale valley within the Lake District National Park. The cottage is set on the shores of Wastwater and so offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding hills. It is the perfect starting point for numerous Wainwright walks. Scafell Pike, Yewbarrow and Illgill Head can all be started from the doorstep. Very easy access to the lake for paddleboarding, kayaking and wild swimming.

The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

The Vale of Lorton is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of the Lakes, ranging from the flat farmland and Gem town of Cockermouth at one end to the rugged mountains and Buttermere at the other. The tranquil setting of The Spinney, above the River Cocker, with spectacular views over to Whinlatter, is an ideal location to explore the north western Lakes. Set in two acres of mature trees, gardens and river frontage, with lots of wildlife.

Spacious converted barn on the border of the Lake District National Park. Brilliant base for walking or cycling with good amenities in the local village, Broughton in Furness. If you'd like to book longer than 4 weeks or shorter than 2 days please don't hesitate to get in touch. We can also offer late checkout if available when we have enough notice.

Woodend Buttery

The Buttery is cosy and quirky self contained private accommodation adjoining the barn offering self catering accommodation for a couple in a double bed. There is an enclosed private "courtyard" garden but if you let your dogs roam in there please keep an eye on them. Also spectacular views of Scafell.
