The Nook

A compact, cosy self contained 1 bedroom chalet 50 yards from the cliffs. 104 yards from the beach and the legendary Porth Island, where locals and tourist gather with cameras to capture that perfect sunset. This location really is as good as it gets! Guests can also borrow the Kayak’s for an evening paddle round the island. Panoramic is situated on the side of the 200 year old copper mine known as Tywarnhayle. It is south facing with views across the valley with the benefit of the shelter from prevailing winds. It has its own private sheltered decking area and garden with table and chairs. Calm and tranquil yet in close walking distance from the amazing Porthtowan beach one of Cornwall’s finest surf beaches. At the end of a private lane, you will find your own large and private parking area and enclosed garden. Newquay Centre is a pleasant fifteen minute stroll and Porth about seven minutes away.

With private parking for 3 cars, it is perfect for families, couples and groups of friends. We are always on hand to give you any help or information you may need. Your own transport is recommended.

JARU - 'A dog friendly cosy coastal retreat'

'A cosy coastal retreat overlooking the beautiful Whitsand bay with beach access via the cliff footpath' JARU is situated in a stunning location on the idyllic Cornish coastline that is known as Freathy and offers breathtaking sea views with Rame Head (the Salt Path) to the East and Looe to the West. Dogs are welcome at the chalet for a small charge and the beaches are dog friendly all year round. Bed linen and towels are also provided. Parking permit provided for Field 3 Freathy.

Porthtowan is excellently positioned on the North Cornish coast, in 'Poldark Country', between St. Ives and Newquay. It boasts a great surf beach, dramatic sunsets, beach bar with live music, excellent café and local shops. 'Shilly Shally' is a stylish chalet escape comfortably styled throughout. It's ideal for couples, maybe travelling with a small infant, or a four legged friend.

Shamrock Cabin, Whitsand Bay

A stylish and comfortable cabin with breathtaking views across the Atlantic ocean. The perfect cosy retreat in a truly idyllic location. Please note there is no parking beside the cabin itself. Parking is available May-November in a nearby field where you can leave your car in a designated bay. You will then carry your luggage items across the road and down the cliff path to the cabin. If you have mobility issues then this should be considered before booking.

A charming small two bedroom chalet situated on the South West Coastal Path on the Rame Peninsula, The Nooke sits in unarguably Portwrinkle’s finest location – a private cliff top garden directly overlooking the beach with views across the ocean from Rame Head to the East and Looe Island and beyond to the West. The spot has been in the owners family since the 1920s. Recently undergoing a full makeover we as a family are very proud to share it with you.
