The Little Hemp Cabin sits on our croft in Breakish, just outside Broadford in South Skye. It’s a small, self-contained space surrounded by open ground, big skies and shifting Highland weather. Built from hemp and timber, the cabin feels naturally warm and calm. The walls regulate temperature well, so it stays comfortable year-round without feeling sealed or artificial. Inside, the layout is simple and uncluttered, with everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Just six miles out of Portree, its central location on the island is an ideal base to visit the whole of the Isle of Skye. The apartment sits in an established garden, overlooking the Sound of Raasay, with shore access from the croft. Private and cosy self-catering accommodation in a detached stone byre situated within one mile of local amenities in Broadford village, including cafes, restaurants, supermarket and fuel pumps. The bedroom leads into a small kitchen/living area furnished with a sofa and breakfast bar, microwave, portable electric hob (no oven), George Foreman grill, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery, pans, crockery and cooking utensils.

We are quarter of a mile from the nearest road with spectacular views all around so very peaceful.
