The Chapter House (historically known as "The Bond House") is the oldest known residential dwelling in the historic market town of Bishop Auckland - home to the Prince Bishops of Durham. It sits at the top end of Bondgate, which was once a long green leading to Bishop Auckland Castle. In term time, this is our family home, but blessed with work that allows travel, during school holidays and weekends in warmer months, we let it out for others to enjoy.
