Since in the town, I expected to pay more but this place has a reasonable price and everything is in walking distance from the Bnb. The rooms are lovely and clean, same as the kitchen area. I would definitely come again

We had our first night's stay in Ireland here at Athlone after arriving into Dublin from Australia. After parking nearby out the front, it was an easy check-in, we were greeted by a friendly host, and we found traditional bars & pubs nearby. Our room was comfortable & cosy, the shared lounge & kitchen area was full of unique books, collectables & items of interest. Amazing & quirky place to stay.

We had a lovely time at " Bastion B&B". Very atmospheric and cozy place in the centre, close to good restaurants and pubs. Our room was very nice, clean and quiet. We also enjoyed the lounge area where you can prepare your own breakfast and relax reading a book. We felt like at home. Friendly and attentive hosts.

The townhouse is very nicely decorated, very clean and neat and had everything I needed in the kitchen. The location was very convenient to shops and a nice park along the river right by the townhouse.

This was a great phase for our few day trip in Athlone! We were warmly welcomed and the recommendation of heading to Clonmacnoise was appreciated so we didn't miss out while we were in the area. The lounge was a nice area to eat and relax. I might have missed it in the listing but the kitchen only has a microwave and toaster, no hotplate so we weren't able to cook. This wasn't a big deal as there are plenty of good food places close to us! The room was perfect for what we needed and had heaters as it was a bit chilly out. I would recommend!

I had an excellent 2-week stay at the studio, thanks to Anthony & Vinny. The location is marvelous. Plenty of great pubs & restaurants within a few blocks. It's a 15-minute walk across the river to the train station or to the supermarket. It's a bustling neighborhood loaded with charm. There are also a number of nice little nearby walking paths along the river, so it's easy to get your steps in and away from in-town traffic. It's a lovely town, too, in general. The studio had exactly enough to meet my needs... a perfect fit. It was airy and easy to keep tidy: a very comfortable place to spend time in. I'm a writer and investor, so I depend on WiFi pretty heavily - and it was always easy to connect and stay connected. Anthony and Vinny are attentive and helpful hosts: checking periodically to ensure my stay was comfortable and being available for questions or neighborhood advice as needed. If or when I opt to return, I'll want to stay at the studio again, for sure. Thanks A & V!

We were in the area to attend a wedding, staying with Sandra for one night. Sandra’s attention to detail was excellent and arranged for us to be collected after the wedding. We had a very comfortable stay and felt very much at home. We would highly recommend Sandra and would stay again if in the area.

Beautiful house in the village close to all amenities. The host was very welcoming and checking in was easy. Would highly recommend the property and host for anyone staying in the north west.

Great location in the centre of town. Some lovely puns, the outdoor swimming pool is great craic. Nice river walk and park. Really handy with the train too. The apartment was spotless and in perfect condition.

Le logement est situé au centre de la ville. Il est entièrement rénové. Les chambres sont impeccables. Nous avons été très bien reçus. Un grand merci à notre hôte qui nous a conseillés pour trouver un restaurant pour dîner le soir et a réservé pour nous ainsi que pour le petit déjeuner. Nous étions un groupe de 17 adultes et 4 enfants!!!! Bravo et merci
