Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Wren's nest

Wrens nest is a cozy one-room cottage with an open plan design that combines charm with functionality. The main room features a simple layout where the bed, sofa and kitchen area share the same space. The comfortable oak framed bed has neutral linens and bedside tables with reading lamps. The two seater sofa has small foldable tables for dining. The kitchen occupies one wall with simple cabinets, two burner hob, fridge, microwave and small air fryer. The shower room has wc & sink with storage.

The Bookend Cottage

Enjoy a stylish experience in Scotland’s National Book Town. The Bookend Cottage provides the perfect base to explore the many book shops, nearby beaches and coastal walks. With beautiful furnishings and bedding, you can relax and unwind in this special cottage. Pop the wood burner on and enjoy reading a book, sit in the walled courtyard with a fresh morning coffee listening to the birdsong, maybe you’d prefer the wood fired hot tub, or popping a record on the player - so many options to relax!

Ivy Bank Studio Creetown - Gem Rocks Neighbour.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

Shore Escape

Shore Escape is a self-catering, coastal, family-run, handcrafted retreat with sea views and a stones throw from the shore line of Carsluith Bay. It is situated on the edge of the UK's first Dark Sky Park and situated on the South Coast 300 route. Shore escape provides the perfect base for a short break, and the perfect base to explore the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway. Please note: if guests are using sofa bed please bring own linens. The Old Toll House Petite and perfectly formed

Petite but perfectly formed The Old Toll house is a perfect base to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The Old Toll house was built in 1813 the same time as the bridge was built. It was the original Toll house used to collect the payment for people crossing between Newton Stewart and Minnigaff. The old wooden bridge and ford was replaced in 1813 John Rennie (The Elder) won the honour of the commission. Thomas Telford his competitor also submitted plans. Thank you for your booking.

The Granary, Little Tahall Farm

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

We've got secret wild swimming spots, stargazing, & wildlife in abundance, lovely walks on Cairnsmore or just relax, unwind and reconnect with family & friends. Our jewel of a cabin harks back to simpler days surrounded by beauty. Enjoy!

Bridgeview, The Hollow

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay at Bridgeview in Creetown. Situated next door to woodland walks and rivers, the scenery is stunning. There is also a children’s play park next door for all the family to enjoy! Creetown hosts a gem stone museum and a heritage museum. Within a 20min drive there is also a Cocobean chocolate factory, Mossy yard beach, Kirroughtree biking trail and the red deer range park. All fantastic for the whole family!

The Potager Tree House

Situated within the vegetable garden five feet up. Unfortunately, not suitable for disabled access. There is a tree coming up through the balcony which gets full sun in the morning for breakfast alfresco. Living area is small and quirky but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside there is a BBQ, a wood fired whiskey barrel hot tub and enough coals and logs provided for one night. The garden is secure and dog friendly. Private entry and parking.

Secluded Cottage with amazing views

Secluded cottage in elevated position with amazing views. Recently added garden room onto the existing cottage enables spectacular 360 panoramic views over Wigtown Bay. It is perfect for families or two couples, garden is fully enclosed (except for determined dogs). Kids have space to make dens, climb trees or toast marshmallows. In summer relax on the patio, In winter curl up with a book or board game and enjoy the stunning views from the cosy interior.
