The Loblolly Lodge was built by Frank Taylor as a gathering place for his family around 1940. Remodeled in 2018, it now boasts of all the modern conveniences for a great getaway. With 2400sf of indoor living space & a 640sf covered back porch there is plenty of space for several families. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee.

Relax with the whole family and friends at this peaceful cottage. Enjoy the well appointed, mostly secluded, home amid the trees. Visit in surrounding areas for antiquing, festivals, fishing, drive through safari and holiday activities. Miniature donkeys can be heard braying. 1 to 2 Small to medium size dogs welcome. Comfortable for 5 persons although 6 persons can fit. No fencing on property and the Kayak is just for decoration. Insurance stays welcome

Escape to our quaint, cozy cabin just 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville and 3 miles from The Blue Lagoon. Nestled next to one of two creeks on the property you can relax on the front porch, take nature walks, swim in Nelson Creek or sit beneath the pines and watch the stars at night from the private hot tub. The cabin is a studio setup with a comfy queen bed. The sun room has a daybed with a floor trundle. Coffee and bottled water provided.

This open concept home is perfect for families or groups looking for a peaceful getaway with just a 10-minute drive away from Lake Livingston boat ramps. Please note that garages and rooms with locked doors are private spaces and are not accessible to guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Viewcrest Oasis

This stylish, peaceful space is perfect for small adult getaways. Located on a quiet dead end street, it offers a safe, relaxing place to unwind. The home has two bedrooms, one king and one queen, plus two separate bathrooms and a full size kitchen. Just minutes from the square and the loop, making it easy to get anywhere you need. No pets or small children, please.

Henry’s Houston County Lake

At Henry’s you will enjoy private dock access to Houston County Lake (Crockett, TX) — not to be confused with Lake Houston. Outdoor fire pit, grill, and kayaks make the perfect getaway for family and friends. Please note that Henry’s is not accessible, being there is a step onto the front/back porches and multiple levels of outside staircases leading to the dock.

The Bunkhouse Getaway is a one room, open concept rental nestled in a rural area of east Texas. The perfect setting to relax and unwind on the private porch while enjoying the tranquil views and majestic sunrises and sunsets. Most nights the sky is full of stars with the occasional sounds of coyotes, frogs, and crickets.
