We loved our weekend on long lake. We had a nice relaxing time hanging out, fishing, enjoying a fire in the evening, etc. Also very much appreciated how stocked the house was with small things we needed, but wouldnt think to bring, like ziplock bags or just common kitchen tools. Overall, a great spot to chill on the lake and Laura and Steve are great hosts who respond quickly if there are any issues.

It was a great little getaway place for my husband and I. It was smaller than expected, but still worked out perfectly for the 2 of us. The hot tub was great! Kitchen is well stocked, and the place was very clean!

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. I enjoyed everything about my stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and I sat on the porch to watch the lake and wildlife despite some very chilly temperatures. I loved the skylights! Bed was very comfortable and all that I needed was supplied. I would definitely stay here again.

Our time with friends at Sam and Christine’s was perfect! Peaceful and quiet which made for the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Spent hours floating on the very clear lake in the sunshine, visiting on the deck, kayaking, fishing and sitting around the fire pit while watching some of the most amazing sunsets. The house was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. Sam and Christine’s will defiantly be our choice next year for our annual getaway with friends!

Great little place near the lake! Very clean and I loved the modern decor; there is a lot of attention to detail. Great kitchen and we appreciated the Keurig coffee and complimentary bottle of wine. Beds were comfortable, linens were fresh!

This place is the ultimate get away from everything location! It is remote and quiet. The perfect place to go and just read a book or even take some of your crafts to work on. It is beautiful and quiet. I also love that we were able to bring our dog. My husband and I just went through a catastrophic event and we needed to get away for a few days. This is exactly what we needed. This place felt familiar and like home from the moment we arrived. We will be staying again in the future.

Beautiful sunsets in the evenings! The house was perfect! No issues at all! Phillip was great at communicating! The neighbors were so friendly!!

This was such a nice weekend with our family. The cottage was stocked with everything you need! The lake is super quiet and pretty private! The place was clean and remodeled in the inside. Our first time booking an AIRBNB so we were nervous but we are so glad we did!

Alicia's place was perfect for the 7 of us on our quick get away weekend.

Overall great experience. Right on the lake with nature/animals everywhere you look. We brought kayaks and easily launched them from the property. Terri was super responsive to all our questions and was a great host. Highly recommend this airbnb

We really enjoyed our stay at The Green House. It’s a perfect location to walk to the lake, the many shops and restaurants in the village and Grace College. Everything we needed was there and Samantha gave us great instructions and recommendations. The house is old and has some quirks that comes with that but it was accurately described in the listing and didn’t effect our stay at all. We were impressed with how clean it was. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

The location was great for us. The reviews are correct that the stairs are steep but they were okay. Quiet neighborhood. I would return if we were back to this area.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was spotless. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the peaceful lake. We felt like family friends staying over with all the little touches that made our stay easy and so nice. We really only had to buy groceries that we needed. Nothing else. The place is so welcoming. We enjoyed working from the cabin while overlooking the lake. Great WiFi. We spent evenings sitting by the water, exploring various lake communities with shopping and food, walking around the neighborhoods and watching movies with the “fire” going. this place was very quaint. very clean. Lake was snowy and frozen but beautiful! the indoor porch my favorite! easy check in and easy check out instructions, owner extremely nice. couldn't ask for a better stay! shipshewana only 15 mins away, a MUST SEE. Will be back when weather is better! Thank you for a great stay!
