Private locking sliding glass door opens to the patio, gas grill, hammock and fire pit overlooking the lake. A steep walking trail and steps down to the lakefront access the dock, 2 kayaks, paddleboat & life jackets.

Luxurious Firehouse Apartment in Downtown Traverse

Step away from cookie-cutter condos and into an extraordinary living space. The Firehouse One Building was the first Fire Station in the city, constructed back in 1891 and thoughtfully renovated in 2022. With 12 foot tall ceilings accented with hand hammered tin and floor to ceiling brick walls throughout, this incredible loft can comfortably accommodate 8 overnight guests.

Firehouse One was the first Fire Station to operate in the city way back in 1891. This stylish ground level flat at Firehouse One was built in 2022. It has one bedroom and one bathroom. It can accommodate up to 4 guests with free parking and fiber internet on-site. Our home is a nice quiet retreat. It is a lower level large 2 bedroom basement apartment with a separate entrance. There is on 27.5 private acres to explore with a mile trail and Stanley Creek running thru the property. It has 1/4 mile driveway, very private, comfortable space. There is wildlife about. It has plenty of space for parking a boat trailer with easy access to power outlets. There is a fire pit with wood to burn available.

Our rental is a five minute drive to Bryant Park Beach and a five minute drive to the Cherry Capital Airport. A fantastic location and just a short drive to all the fun and festivities that Traverse City has to offer. Your stay includes a complimentary bag of coffee from Mundos.

The building was originally Manistee National Bank. The recently renovated apartment is where the Bank offices were originally located. It sits on the Manistee River Walk. Guests have easy access to the River Walk for a nice stroll down to Lake Michigan. The building is centrally located in the downtown Historic District, steps away from local shopping, dining, and entertainment.

The Queen Bee Suite sits right downtown Suttons Bay in the historic “Beehive” building. The Beehive is 20 minutes from Traverse City, one block from the beach, restaurants and shops, and 5 minutes (or less) away to the nearest winery. You can also get ice cream right next door!
