The Yorkshire Three Peaks a guided trail walk
Join us on the famous Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge, starting at Horton in Ribblesdale we will climb Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough the 24.5 mile trail walk that takes you through the stunning landscapes of this beautiful national park. Throughout the tour there are plenty of opportunities to pause to capture photo’s and take in the stunning views. It should be noted that this tour may not suit more novice walkers. It’s approximately 24.5 miles and the aim is for the tour to be completed in under 12 hours. Whilst it is designed to be more demanding it’s fun, flexible in giving short rest breaks and provides a brilliant sense of accomplishment. We also provide each guest with a personalised certificate of achievement emailed after the event. I have competed and coached on track, road and trail for over 35 years climbing across the UK and Europe. Highly knowledgeable on nutritional support and best training practices, I’ve vast experience of the local area and a member of The British Mountaineering Club. Fully insured you’re in safe hands with us! Neil has run and power walked all three peaks numerous times over the last 10 years. He is an excellent pace setter and very knowledgable about the tour route.

Bahías y playas de Ullswater en kayak
Ullswater, quite rightly, is considered the most beautiful of the big lakes. It features bays & beaches, islands and lots of scenery. The ethos on the trips is always the same. Enjoy the scenery, have a chat, pass on a bit of knowledge to, and learn from, people looking for a similar venture. The first thing we'll do is sort out what's needed for the trip and introduce the boat. We use double ( tandem ) sea kayaks, unless there is an odd number of people on the trip, then the single is available. This is followed by a quick brief on what to do, then it's on to the water. There's no set route or furthest out point. I'll always take the group and the conditions into consideration. There is beautiful scenery all along the lake. Free parking for most trips ( some parking restrictions May - Sept & Bank Holidays ). Be aware that if you have a BMI of 26 or over, weigh over 102 Kg ( 16 Stones ), or have very little upper body strength, this Experience is not for you.

Alternatively we can turn on the motor and sail around the lake to see points of interest. The boat can be booked as a private tour or with a mixed group of people. This is a trip that I have run many time and is always seen as the highlight of the holiday. Whether it is your first time on a sailboat or you are an experienced sailor you are sure to have a great time. Other things to note Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Mountain Biking/coaching experience in the Lake District
We'll start the day with a coaching session learning cycling/mountain bike skills in turn helping you get the know your bike. Amanecer desde la cima de Helvellyn
After meeting we will discuss the day ahead, check equipment and ensure we have everything needed for a safe ascent of Helvellyn. With head torches switched on we will begin our climb of Helvellyn. On a good but rocky mountain path we will zig zag up bracken covered slopes until we reach the subsidiary peak of Lower Man. We will then follow the ridge to the summit of Helvellyn. We will arrive at the summit just before dawn as the dark fades and a golden light bathes the far reaching views. From our lofty perch we will see the sun burst over the horizon, rise in to the sky and transform the landscape. Illuminated mountain slopes will glow with colour, deep shadows will highlight shape and form and we will feel the warmth of the new day. There will be plenty of time for photographs, a hot drink and snack before we begin our descent. During the day we will hear about local tales and legends, discuss mountain features and look at the wildlife. Providing you with a rich and memorable experience.
Medita con caballos
A brief but inspiring discussion on meditation and why we do it with horses will motivate you to be dedicated and vigilant in your practice. Then we go and meet the horses and I will teach you the basics in animal meditation. Then we groom the horses; this is the best way to get the horses to accept you as herd members as they bond by grooming each other. As we start to meditate, the more stable, connected and balanced the client, the easier it is for the horse to step into his role of soothing, regulating, teaching and inspiring with his gentle and peaceful energy. Often the horses will lie down and we can get down on the grass with them and be close and connected. We work on touching the horses in specific areas and watching for significant reactions to detect connection. There is often an opportunity to test your connection by asking the horses to follow you without a lead and then you can take a little walk together. We often finish with a beautiful guided meditation which will be chosen depending on the specific needs of the client. We always end the session with gratitude and a big horsey cuddle. Other things to note In the summer there may be flies. Bring sun hats and sun cream. Wrap up warm and water proof on winter and please wear wellies or firm boots. No experience of horses or meditation needed but please arrive with an open heart and an open mind.
Tour de medio día sobre Beatrix Potter con un guía experto
We'll step into the world of Beatrix Potter. Starting from her earliest experiences in the Lake District, where she fell in love with the stunning scenery and her future husband, we'll follow in her footsteps visiting the farm where she lived and explore her favourite places. Wray Castle is where we will start to take in the views she saw on her 16th birthday here and discover what it was that inspired her lifelong passion for the Lake District. Next we'll visit Hill Top, the house where she lived, still just as she left it, a magical, atmospheric place. As we stroll through Sawrey, the village she made her home, her books will come alive with the illustrations of Tom Kitten, Jemima Puddleduck and familiar buildings that leap straight off the page and into the landscape around us. We'll explore the charming village of Hawkshead where her husband worked as the local solicitor and see some of the huge Monk Coniston estate that she bought for the National Trust. Travelling in a comfy mini-van with air con, Wi-Fi & phone charging ports as one of only 6/7 passengers you will find it is easy to ask questions and join in the conversation (if you want to). There are lots of stops for photos. We will have stunning scenery all around us from beginning to end on this tour which also has a wealth of fascinating facts and stories which I'll help you to discover on our time together.

Scramble Blencathra and Sharp Edge
Join us on a stunning walk of outstanding contrasts. Blencathra, also known as Saddleback, was possibly Alfred Wainwrights favourite fell, considering it was his most written about! We start our walk from the village of Threlkeld and eventually make our way up the mountain, warming up and practising our scrambling on Narrow Edge, described by Wainwright as ‘the finest way to any mountain-top in the district’, on the ascent to Hallsfell Top (868m), the highest peak of Blencathra. Once summiting we’ll drop down to Scales Tarn, where we’ll enjoy lunch and you can get your feet wet in this beautiful and ancient glacial lake. Refreshed and replenished, we’ll now scramble back up to Hallsfell via the Jewel in the Crown of our day, which is Sharp Edge, one of the finest and most challenging of all ridges to the summit. You should now feel more confident with your scrambling skills after navigating Narrow Edge on the way up and your Mountain Leader will be there to help and encourage you. Once back on top, feeling exhilarated by your scramble and the stunning views, we now make our way around and back down on our way back to Threlkeld. A classic scrambling day and one that will definitely never be forgotten. For those who might be stepping up a notch in their scrambling experience.
Ruta de dos horas por el muro de Adriano
Ancient Britain’s award winning Hadrian's Wall tour, ‘Roam with the Romans’ transports you back 2000 years to a time when Hadrian's Wall was a frontier, a place where two cultures collided. Your local guide, dressed in authentic costume of the era, weaves a narrative from both sides of the wall (the tales of the natives, and the stories told by the occupying forces) as Roman history comes to life when you discover just what Britain was like under the Caesars. Cawfields makes a magnificent backdrop as you explore the hidden archaeological gems of the wall by foot, see our favourite sections of this breath-taking world heritage site. Other things to note The AD 122 bus runs regularly from Hexham and Haltwhistle. Taxis are easy to book. Hexham and Haltwhistle have a regular train service from Newcastle and Carlisle.
