Wow, the whole experience was wonderful from start to finish, we stayed here this weekend to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. The air b&b itself was immaculate and so cozy, the views were out of this world. Everything was perfect and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Keswick! Thank you to Eddie!

The perfect getaway. Stunning, peaceful property. Being welcomed by the sounds of the Guinea fowls and the rushing river made me so happy and calm. The accommodation itself was perfectly clean, homely, comfortable with absolutely everything we needed. The little touches like the lux bedding, the fresh milk and the torch by the door were great extras. And I really appreciated the close parking and the table and chairs sat by the river. Can't wait to return. Highly reccomend the host Madonna at The Granary. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

This was a truly special stay. How often can you say you've stayed at a beautiful castle! Caroline was extremely responsive and everything was as described -- yes, that includes some limitations. When you are in a very historic building that's also someone's private home, you can't necessarily have every amenity that you get in a luxury hotel. But these limitations are very clearly communicated and completely reasonable (mostly that there are some areas of the grounds that are private/not for the Airbnb guests, and that the building gets cold). Caroline supplied many little touches that made it an extraordinary stay, and was very understanding about my young children.

Such a perfect place to stay with beautiful views, a variety of birds in the garden and peace and quiet. Welcome pack of milk, bread and jams. Everything you could need is to hand. Lovely community shop and nearby dog walks. Ideally situated for Haworth and Keighley

Lovely and clean place to stay in a beautiful setting and with wonderful hosts. There was space for four of us - two adults and two kids (10 and 13). All of the beds were very comfortable and we left feeling rested and recharged.

Fantastic Venue for couples!! Accommodation is immaculate throughout with a real luxury feel, amazing gardens surround it and make it lovely and private. Topped off with a hot tub overlooking beautiful scenery (great for evenings with a glass of vino) and a separate bar to top it all off! Couldn’t recommend enough. Had a great stay.

What a fantastic place to stay! The Cozy Cabin was just right for the two of us. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and powerful, the wifi worked well and it was very well-equipped for making light meals. There was a lovely spot to sit outside for breakfast and watch the Highland cows in the adjacent field and the birds on the bird feeders in the garden. Natalie was a great host who had thought of everything we needed. Her recommendations for places to eat and drink in Kirkcudbright were spot on. Highly recommended all round. Thank you Natalie. We will be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Howee Inn. It’s small but perfectly formed and had everything we needed for one night. Pamela was really friendly and provided clear instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. We were left bread, milk, eggs and butter which was a lovely touch that we enjoyed for breakfast. The local area is lovely too, and we would recommend the local pub for dinner.

Beautiful little place, I booked for me and partner but due to circumstances we did t get to go so I have our okace up to a family member, she recommended to go some day and said she will be going back herself. She said it was cosy and cute and very romantic, she did a video tour for me and it was exactly how I hoped it would have been. Once my personal circumstances have resolved me and my partner will defo be booking again for some time in the future. Because it was such short notice she didn’t get to try the pubs/food near by but she went for a walk about 20mins away sent me lots of pics and said I’d love it, as I am a walking person myself the scenes looked beautiful. Tania was excellent and very friendly. Happy customer and happy replacement attendees .

We had a wonderful stay. Lesley Ann's place is spotlessly clean, with lovely furnishings. Lovely welcome basket which was a nice surprise. We even had a visit from the Easter Bunny! Rothbury near by is a lovely place. This was a convenient place for us with the various places we wanted to visit in Northumberland (Kielder, Hadrian's wall, Thrunton woods, the coast). Thank you very much Lesley Ann, we will certainly book again next time we return to Northumberland.

We had a lovely one night stay. Room was very comfortable and a beautiful garden to sit in and for dogs to play in. Instructions to get in extremely clear and great communication with host. Lovely village and plenty of places to eat or have a drink. If in the future we are back over here would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home😀 🏡

Absolutely beautiful house. Very well equipped with everything you need - the welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The hosts were lovely very friendly and directions to house spot on. The place is ideally placed for the trams and nice local Italian restaurant just round the corner. The house is super clean and the garden a lovely little sun trap. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Lovely little place which has been very well thought through. Spotlessly clean, everything required for a couple to have a comfortable stay. Dawn left some welcome items which were much appreciated and useful. I particularly appreciated the robe and shower cap - I never bring mine as too bulky - but really useful. Lots of hangers and hooks, USB charging points also, lovely hot water in large shower and high quality toiletries. Coffee machine a great bonus. We didn't use the patio outside as busy out most of the day but this is a great spot to appreciate the lovely garden, and the cherry trees were in full bloom for us. Great location close to town centre (although Penrith is a small place) as well as on the way to the Penrith Beacon hill walk - well worth doing for fabulous views. Penrith is great location with good transport links, very friendly and easy to navigate. Dawn was friendly and charming. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

What a delightful place! Squeaky clean, very well appointed modern kitchen and bathroom, packed with everything you could need, including toiletries in the bathroom (bath and shower) - and milk, bread, orange juice, cereals, etc in the kitchen. There’s even an air fryer. AND oh joy! A small bottle of fizz, and tasty little cupcakes! Thank you Marj for a lovely, comfortable home from home - and for greeting me so warmly.

Great stay, beautiful location with easy parking. The hosts Crystal and Andy were very welcoming. Great communications and very responsive to messages. The apartment itself was pristinely clean and very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Loads of useful information provided in guest information book. Thank you

Perfect, quiet retreat in a beautiful location. The accommodation was very comfortable with well stocked kitchen and powerful shower. We loved wildlife spotting in the garden - deers, birds and bats. Some very good walks, perfect location for the northern fells. Quaint little villages with good local pubs. Emma was extremely helpful answering my questions before our trip and makes the most fantastic brownies- thank you!

We had a fantastic week at The Spinney, the location above the Cocker and looking over to Whinlatter is superlative. Adam and Mary are great hosts, furnishing the cottage with thoughtful touches, a plentiful supply of firewood and generous welcome gifts, and sharing their beautiful garden. The Spinney is in a great location away from the honeypots of the Lakes but within easy reach of everything. Thoroughly recommended!

Hi Reg and Lynn, From Darren, Vic and Charlie, we want to say a massive thank you for your hospitality, your kindness and allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage. we've had the best few days in a long time and felt part of your wonderful family whilst allowing us space and privacy to truly relax. we'd like to thank you also for the little extras we found upon arrival which were most thoughtful and kind. We struggled to leave this morning and the love you've all put into the cottage was felt from the second we walked through the door. I really don't think the photos do justice to the beauty and charm. The local walks are wonderful, the beach is an absolute delight, you've made everything perfect for us and hope we'll be back one day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, it's been the most perfect of breaks Darren, Vic and a truly tired Charlie x

Quiet, lots of space and amazing views all around! Host is very helpful and will go out of their way to help with nothing you need. Kitchen fully loaded for a full days worth of cooking with kids etc! (You may need to bring small cutlery for the very little ones) Also a quiet but large Tesco Extra down the road, so not too far for everything you will need. Stop in Moffat for a great breakfast or drinks and head up to st Mary’s loch with the kids and if you have enough energy go and walk up towards grey Mare’s Waterfall

We have just spent 3 lovely nights at Joanna’s beautiful home. Town End Cottage was everything we expected it to be and more. The space is absolutely beautiful with everything you could possibly need. Only a 35 minute drive away from Windermere and 25 from Aira Force waterfall, we had endless options of sights to see. Thank you to Joanna and family (including the lovely kitties) for a peaceful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Had an absolute amazing stay at The Birches. Ailsa is such a perfect host. Nothing is too much for her. She goes above and beyond to make your stay the best 😊 The cleanliness, freshness and comfort of The Birches had the wow factor. My granddaughter enjoyed the Hot Tub and the beautiful home-made lemon cake Ailsa brought us fresh from the oven, her mum and I enjoyed the bottle of Prosecco. Fresh roses 🌹 dotted around the rooms was a beautiful touch. Well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, beds so comfortable. I could go on and on, but just check this place out and you will definitely not be disappointed 😊 Thank you Ailsa for everything We will be back. 🥰
