We had a great time at this beautifully designed home in Niseko. We loved the space and kept saying we wished it was our house! It was close to a lot of the local ski mountains also and we managed to ski at Annurpuri, which still had some snow in April. We used a lot of the local restaurant recommendations also, which were all great. All in all we had a fab and would definitely book again!

We had such a great time staying here! We felt right at home and the place was so cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked for easy cooking and the shower/tub was fun.

Had to book the listing at the last minute due to some issues with my original booking with another listing. Host was very prompt in accepting and replying us on check in details. Very commendable. The listing is a huge house overlooking lake Toya, it is a very nice place. It was also very clean and well stock. 'downtown' is only a 10 mins drive away as well. The only drawback is the shower and toilet is at different levels which might make it inconvenient for people not used to Japanese bathrooms. Regardless, would recommend this to anyone who is looking to experience living in a lake house or need a big space for a large group.

This was a perfect location for our first trip to Japan. Very convenient to everything. (We had a car). The house is amazing, incredible basement for drying out gear with the heated floors, easy in and out when off the slopes. Being from the US, it was odd to not have bathrooms on the living room floor or upstairs bedrooms, but once you get over that we loved having the bathrooms downstairs- we enjoyed the space! The onsen is absolutely incredible. My ski group are used to having hot tubs for apres ski, but once you get a taste for the Japanese onsen, you appreciate it more and more as a bit of respite from the group and a time to connect with oneself. We were a group of 5- 1 guy got the room with the full sized bed, two of us split the room with the three singles, and two of the guys took the singles in what I’d call a loft. Perfect size for 5 guys but a 6th would have fit fine. The beds were very comfortable and Ian did a great job helping us when needed. 5 stars, GREAT!

The house is very cosy and great to host big groups. The host is responsive and respectful. However, for groups that have seniors in their midst may find the stairs difficult to climb, so do take note.

Es war ein Traum dort als Gast zu übernachten. Yoshie hat wunderschönes Haus und sie ist eine exzellente Gastgeberin. Das Haus ist leicht zu erreichen von der Bahnstation aus, auch mit schweren Koffern. Yoshie kümmert sich sehr gut um ihre Gäste und hat steht's ein offenes Ohr für Fragen zum Aufenthalt und anderen Themen.

The Tanuki chalet is gorgeous - modern, clean, and cozy. We loved our stay. The layout was perfect for our extended family (4 bedrooms downstairs and 3 baths, with a large living space upstairs). The kitchen was large and well-stocked with dishes, cooking equipment, and utensils. The location is amazing on a serene street and it is easily walkable to the Rusutsu resort (although we did have a car, so we never did the walk carrying skis). The property manager was very responsive to all of my requests throughout our stay. The heat was superb and kept us warm and we also loved the sauna. The only small downside was that we specifically booked this property to have a fireplace and we couldn’t get it to work properly (possibly because the chimney was covered in snow). We didn’t bother to ask the property to fix it, so maybe there is something that could be done. I highly recommend staying here overall!

Sen-san was quite responsive. Very convenient location and comfortable stay.

The place was great!! Yumi was very responsive and provided clear instructions. Both parking and taking train was easy. No complaints at all. Highly recommend!

Thank you for providing us with a comfortable place. The position is highly advantageous and close to the city center. Many shops are nearby and easily accessible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Had a great stay at Marc’s place - location is very convenient , maybe a 10 minute walk from Odori Park and all the other central areas / nearest train station. The quality of bedding was very high and the apartment can easily accommodate 3 (plus a temp bed for a 4th person that I didn’t use). It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc for cooking. The only other thing I’d add is that the apartment was a tiny bit smaller than seemed like from the pictures ; didn’t really take away from our stay at all but wanted to point it out.

Exactly as described! A comfortable and practical place to stay while visiting Sapporo. It is also a great location - right by a subway stop and easily accessible to all of the tourist attractions. And very close to grocery and convenience stores, and local restaurants. We had a great time! The hosts are very responsive and welcoming. Thank you Hiroyuki and Rei for your great hospitality.

host / owner is nice and friendly, with hand written map and other tour guide for further introducing the surrounding buildings / facility. the location is slightly difficult to find, especially in winter with snow surrounded. but the room is big enough for 1 -2 people living and have washing machine is the most important thing for my trip. thanks again for the hospitality and looking forward to come back very soon☺️☺️

이 숙소에 3일동안 머물렀습니다. 체크인 과정에 대한 안내가 자세하여 쉽게 숙소에 들어갈 수 있었습니다. 전용 주차장 1면이 제공 되기에 렌트카 이용이 너무 편했습니다. 숙소 주변에 편의점과 마트가 가까이 있어서 편리합니다. 전반적으로 불편함 없이 너무 편하게 잘 지내다 왔습니다. 호스트도 친절하게 불편한점이 없는지 물어봐주시고 다음에 삿포로에 방문하게 된다면 또 머물고 싶네요

The host was very responsive and courteous. The space was everything we expected and more. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

房間內如图片一樣，整體感覺不錯，除了客廳那套被子有很大洗不掉油漬殘留有點礙眼，其它還可以，冰箱有簡單調味。 不提供牙刷，不提供洗衣液有點不方便😝

The house is clean, well-equipped with good facilities, offers beautiful scenery, and is conveniently located near attractions with public transport readily available. Yumi and the team are responsive and easy to communicate with, making the stay even more pleasant.

A lovely little spot only 10 minutes walk to town centre. Helpful to have a car if you are skiing. Great apartment with picture window view of Yotei. Stephanie was very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend.
