Owen is a great host. If you can twist his arm, let him make you his local chicken and chilli grill or lemon chicken with sweet potato!

I loved staying with Irene! She did everything to make me feel comfortable and at home and even cooked for me! We had incredible conversations and she taught me so much about Malawi. I would stay with her again without a doubt!

Everything was pretty good as described. No washing machine nor dryer, but staff wash and iron guests' clothes which is pretty awesome. The only concern was WiFi which is to be used for one hour only. If you are a heavy WiFi user, please find an alternative option for WiFi. Otherwise everything else was pretty wonderful. Breakfast is delicious and the host is quite friendly and comes to check in on guests which is incredible. I liked it and I'd come back to stay there if I were to stay in Lilongwe again.

Simply a great airbnb, and quite possibly the best airbnb host imaginable. The place is in a smaller house inside of a larger private compound where the hosts live. You're well connected if you need anything, but the space allows for privacy. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, everything you could think of is there. Plus you might as well use the beautiful and tranquil garden. The area is a quiet and green suburb. Very safe, peaceful, with a number of very nice cafes and restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk. A large supermarket is 15 minutes walk. Reasonably short taxi ride to city centre, or you could just walk. The host has been absolutely fantastic. Amazingly helpful, sorted out a few issues I had (not with the place but with closed shops), great to communicate with, and just generally an absolute pleasure. Great family, very nice kids, and very nice friends of the family at a little home party I was able to join. Couldn't recommend any place more.

This is a great option, especially for those who are in Lilongwe for extended work, as I was. The apartment is big and comfortable in a really leafy and green section of Lilongwe, about a 45 minutes walk from the Central Business District. There are great restaurants about 20 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment is in a small compound where the owner lives--their support was excellent, though it being Lilongwe expect some periodic power outages. The house is in a huge garden. Overall, I would stay here again and highly recommend the house.

Lovely place very friendly staff but restaurant needs to be a revise didn't have food that I could order it's was really meant for Malawians otherwise the place was great but sadly had to go to town to eat...

This was our second stay at Mabuya and the first in their rental house. We found it to be comfortable and quiet with the convenience of the restaurant and staff on site. We would recommend it and plan to stay here again in our future travels.

Our stay was great, the place felt at home with a descent yard to relax. WiFi was provided and the place is in a serene neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and everything in the house was functional, I definitely recommend Benson.

Very beautiful and clean apartments very close to the wildlife center and the old mall that you can find a beautiful open market for souvenirs. I was lucky that the period i stayed the owner was there too so she helped me a lot with all the info i needed, she gave me a ride and came with me in the market. Staff was really helpful and polite. The apartments are big very clean with everything you need. And mostly very very safe with 24h guard. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to visit Lilongwe
