Unique early Australian shepherds cottage on 500 acres opposite stunning Mt. William in the Grampians National Park. Self contained cottage surrounded by amazing bird life, kangaroos, emus, echidna, wallabies and deer. Country life with all the comforts. Homemade bread, farm eggs, mulberry jam / butter , teas / coffee, milk are all provided for guests to make breakfast at their leisure. Hillrise Cottage is a peaceful and picturesque property on a hill above the gum trees with spectacular views of the Grampians to the west. 15 km from Ararat and 30 km from Halls Gap, Hillrise Cottage is a great base for exploring the beautiful Grampians region, (30mins away), taking in the local wineries or just relaxing. Chill out in this unique home, stroll around the 6 acre property and check out the large dam, beautiful trees and abundant wildlife. Hillrise is 2.5 hours west of Melbourne.

Mount Cole Cottages - Kookaburra Cottage

Kookaburra Cottage - Two bedroom eco cottage (2017) situated on our 13 acres bush property. Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting the Pyrenees wineries. Abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidnas & wide assortment of birdlife. 15 km from Beaufort. Cosy cast iron chiminea on the deck; firewood supplied. EV Car charger (Level 2). Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

Laharum Grove offers a unique and remote experience on a large working olive grove. The 300 acre property shares a 2.5km border with the Grampians National Park and backs onto the stunning western escarpment of the Mt. Difficult Range. The farm house includes 4 bedrooms, 2 living spaces and 2 bathrooms. A breezeway connects the living spaces to the sleeping spaces. Some of the best walks in The Grampians are a short drive away (Mt. Zero, Mt. Stapylton, Hollow Mt., Zummsteins, McKenzie Falls).

Handcrafted Shack, Halls Gap, Grampians (Gariwerd)

Wander through the trees to our handcrafted Shack, lovingly built from recycled materials, with breathtaking panoramic views over our regenerative farm to the mountains beyond. Inside snuggle by the wood heater, outside relax on a hand hewn red gum deck with built-in bath, outdoor shower. The outhouse provides views across the wetlands and its wildlife! Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

The Barn at Weatherboard

Set among an abundant and lively garden, The Barn is our fully detached, unique guest house. The building was originally a fully functional blue stone farm barn but since owning the property we have converted the space into an open plan house, complete with kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside remains in its original state while the inside has been decorated with a collection of artwork and objects from our travels overseas.

Mereweather Accommodation

The cottage is light and airy with full picture windows facing the mountains, this includes the main bedroom. A deck also allows outdoor access of the same views. It is fully self contained and you do not have to share any part of it with others not in your group. Both bedrooms and the lounge room have reverse cycle air conditioners, and ceiling fans. Fast WIFI is also available at the cottage, perfect for those working away from home.

Concongella Cabin a place to chillout

Our very unique and slightly quirky accommodation is based in a beautiful private country setting in Great Western, a short 45- minute drive from the foothills of the Grampians. Originally a shipping container, it has been repurposed with a range of up-cycled and preloved items curated with care. It is set in a quiet little pocket surrounded by native bushland with an abundance of native fauna.
