We were on the eastern shore for a quick weekend trip to do some hiking in the area. We spotted Brad’s place and the location looked quite appealing. It was even more than we expected - quiet, serene, and right on the water. The space was clean and cozy, exactly enough space for the two of us, and we had ample room to enjoy the outdoors. If only the weather had been a little more cooperative - the wind off the bay can be quite something! We enjoyed sitting in the cozy warmth and watching out the windows - we even ventured onto the deck for a bit, despite the wind. The fresh-baked cookies were an extra plus. This is also a great spot for birdwatching!

The location was beautiful and the home was very cozy. Sitting on the screened porch, reading and enjoying the view of the yard and water was good for the soul. It was very quiet and we had all the amenities we needed.

Kara's place was ideal for our trip since we had a little puppy with us. The apartment had a deck overlooking the road and it was a great place for the puppy to be in its own playground and contained within the area. The apartment was spacious, clean, breezy and light. There are a lot of details that indicate that the hostess was class A! She had chips in a basket waiting for us. The kitchen was well stocked, and we didn't lack for anything. The bathroom was clean, lovely-decorated and large. The best part of the morning routine was waking up to roosters announcing the day (from the neighbors). We left the windows open while we slept and it was lovely to hear the sounds of the animals in the countryside. Thank you for having us over.

Larry was a fantastic host. He was flexible with our check-in given that we arrived several hours later than planned due to traffic. He went through the entire apartment with us and offered great recommendations for dinner. Larry was responsive to all requests/questions—a definite return location.

We actually ended up staying at another property of Mary’s because of a boiler issue at the original place. Mary got in touch immediately & offered an upgrade for the price of our original stay. She made sure we got everything we needed, sending over supplies & solving an issue with the tv. A super responsive host and we much appreciated that! The place we ended up at was right on the Choptank River with gorgeous views and even ducks to feed!!! (Mary supplied the duck food!) A great, relaxing stay!!

I visited for a short mother/daughter trip with my 6-year old. This is the BEST place for kids! My daughter loved waking up and visiting the goats and other farm animals every morning, and there are lots of places nearby to look for fossils and explore. Aimee also left us delicious goodies, including freshly baked bagels and homemade jam! The place itself is also extremely spacious and clean.

There were a lot of thoughtful touches- the bathroom had everything I could have needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything I wanted for my morning coffee was all set. The apartment was comfortable and complete. The neighborhood is nice and quaint- I love the cottages and historic buildings of Oxford. Thank you for giving me extra time on Sunday before my performance.

I enjoyed my stay here while attending a conference at the Hyatt Regency. It was quiet, clean, and convenient. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Convenient for working on a boat in Oxford. Less expensive than staying in Oxford.
