Welcome to the Barn Swallow Manor! This fully updated, remodeled and handicap accessible first floor lodging accommodates 12 guests (and two pets) of all ages and abilities. We do not allow cats however due to allergy issues. Enjoy comfort and privacy inside and 11.5 country acres w/ creek outside, close to restaurants, Tanger Outlet, hospitals, Gun Lake casino, Grand Rapids, and much more. The Barn House is perfect for family reunions, small group retreats, or simply gathering with friends.

Cozy Suite 10 min to Grand Rapids, 1 mi to Tanger

The Suite is a cozy place to rest from your travels or stay while you visit family/friends. Away from the bustle of downtown, yet only a 10 minute drive to all the venues in the Grand Rapids downtown area. It’s a small but well stocked suite , self contained space in the front of our home. Tanger Outlet is 1 mile away for convenient shopping. There are a number of restaurants close to choose from. Continental breakfast provided ( plant based) hot/cold cereal, bread, fruit, coffee bar.

Benison Place: quiet & convenient for city/country

Just a few miles off the 131 highway and 30 minutes from Gerald R. Ford International Airport, our location offers tranquility and comfort a short drive from Grand Rapids, Holland (Lake Michigan), and Kalamazoo. This self-contained apartment has its own entrance next to a terraced garden. Enjoy country vistas and watch for deer, turkey, hawks, and songbirds. In season, shop “The Fridge” farm stand, stocked with eggs, scones, honey, and fresh produce. Order ahead: we’ll save scones for you!

Bird's Nest Cozy Farm Getaway

The Birds Nest is an above-the-garage studio apartment with a view of the valley and our working farm. Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, our 36 acres provide a respite for the body and soul with trails and vistas, and engage the mind in sustainable agriculture with a discount on our Farm Tour & Tasting. Our water is from a well. It is tested regularly and is completely safe though it can have a sulfur smell at times. There is an RO filter/faucet in the kitchen for drinking water.

Cozy Cabin in the trees-1 mile from Tanger outlet

The cabin is at the end of a long wooded drive and is nestled in the trees, but yet is less than a mile from Tanger Outlet Mall and just 5 miles from Metro Health Hospital. Downtown Grand Rapids is a short 12 minute drive, while Holland State Park on Lake Michigan is only a scenic 40 minutes away. Tiny House In the City

**Important to note: we are currently undergoing an exterior landscape renovation to be complete late Spring of 2026.** Welcome to our tiny home! In 2019 my husband and I set out to renovate this old pool house into a self-sustainable apartment or tiny home in our backyard. As you can imagine… things did not turn out the way we intended and construction was completed in the fall of 2020! The amenities are not lacking within the space and we know you will feel at home!

40 Acres | Hot Tub, Trails & Game Room

The Hopkins Hideaway gives families and friends 40 private wooded acres to explore and room to reconnect. Follow trails past three scenic streams, compete in the garage game room, then sink into the seven-person hot tub under the trees. Sleeps 16 (10 adults max) across four bedrooms plus a queen sofa, with Gigabit internet, a playground, firepit and trailer parking. Up to two dogs under 50 lb are welcome; responsible ORV riding is allowed on the private trails.
