This is our second stay here and we enjoyed the most glorious weather which was such a bonus - it also meant we could explore other elements the property has to offer including BBQ and sunshade - the hut is well designed and has just the right amount of everything you could need for a short stay - if it’s available then book it !

It is hard to describe the beauty of this place. From the step out onto the beach which is at the quieter end of Lyme Regis but still very close to all the action to the Sky window to watch the stars. It has everything you could want in a small space which makes it feel cozy but also homely. This is my third time and I am someone who doesn’t like to visit the same place twice. I would recommend you book this place – you won’t be disappointed!

A lovely little place to stay! We managed to book a last minute one night get away in the shepherds hut and it was a perfect choice for us. Hassle free booking with very good communication. A beautiful little hut in lovely surroundings. Easy to find and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The hosts were very welcoming as were the neighbours who owned the big garden/field opposite! Found a great pub (The Crown) in the village where we enjoyed a lovely Sunday carvery! Overall a great overnight stay. Thank you!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hut. Fiona was a really great host who came out to us even though it was late and raining! The hut was super warm on arrival and it has an internal heater and towel rail which is nice. It was also nice to be welcomed with some baked goods which we enjoyed the next morning. The bed was super comfy and we slept really well. The hot tub was nice to relax in… you get all the stuff provided for it which is good and on previous experiences this isn’t always the case. We used the Fire pit and you get some cushions to use which are under the bed and extra blankets which again is really nice. It’s exceptionally well thought out and the lord of added extras make it really nice. Would deffo return

On arrival at Lytchett Manor we were greeted by friendly staff, we were given very clear instructions as to where our accommodation was. On first impressions we were like “wow”, very clean, very well maintained, just amazing & it didn’t disappoint for the couple of days we were there, the shower/toilet blocks were absolutely spotless and very well lit at night, sinks to do your pots & pans, facilities for laundry cleaning, what more can I say, except the added bonus was NO noisy arcades or club house!!! We will definitely be going back again and staying for longer, keep up the excellent work Lytchett Manor 👌

The Cabin was peaceful and clean. The compost toilet was the nicest compost toilet I've used - easy-to-use and well presented. The close proximity to the farm shop and cafe was excellent, especially the quality and price of the farm shop foods and beverages. Also, Lizzie was a friendly and helpful host who made the Cabin feel like home.

Spent a few much needed days away walking the coast. This was a great little place to come back to at the end of each day and relax. Eric provided plenty of local recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Fantastic view along the beach made even better by the sunshine I was blessed with during my stay.

Our one night stay in the treehouse was fabulous… Set in a private spot with great views the treehouse provided surprisingly spacious accommodation. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen area is functional with sink, toaster, hob, fridge and utensils. The separate private toilet/shower is literally a few steps from the main treehouse, it is set up as a shower wet room with WC, very clean and modern. The outdoor space is great with table and chairs and a fire pit that is great for bbq cooking and also supplying heat sitting out on a chilly evening, we loved listening to the abundant bird song whilst watching deer, peacocks/hens and the odd rabbit while the sausages sizzled over the embers. At night the whole area is subtly illuminated by atmospheric lighting for pathways and coloured lighting into trees to create a wonderful after dark strolling experience… We highly recommend the treehouse and the other quirky accommodations we saw at Moonacres, and will stay again.

This was the second time we stayed at the glorious little Acorn Hut. Again we were very warmly welcomed by the family and we had a perfect stay! We will go back again!

We enjoyed and appreciated the flexibility of the accommodation which suited our needs for our visit to the area.

The Cabin is a perfect location for those looking for a comfortable, out of the way location. The facilities provided are excellent and the Cabin is exactly as described.

We stayed a few days for our honeymoon. Our arrival was a bit chaotic as the host was there trying to fit a bbq but they left swiftly enough and we were free to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect, so great to be fully immersed in nature especially with a hot tub too. We really enjoyed being woken by the sunrise each day. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. I would say that the cabin could do with a few personal touches like blankets, washing powder, basic supplies in the fridge upon arrival considering the price range I thought it was unusual for these not to be included. Overall we had such an incredibly special stay and will be back soon. Thanks to the hosts ☺️

We loved the Woodpecker Cabin so beautiful and such a peaceful location , just us the birds and the squirrels and the deer of course. The Cabin was beautifully thought out everything we needed for a weekend away , everything had been thought of . The lake was an added bonus great place for a pic nic . we also feed the deers with sarah which you don't get to do every day . Chester and Sarah were great hosts so very friendly and great at communication. we will definitely be returning in the future and will tell all our friends to do the same . Thank you both so much.

Firstly, we will definatley be back in the future! We decided to stay due to its proximity to Longleat but also the coast. The pod did not disapoint, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The weather was lovely which meant the far reaching views were beautiful. Such a lovely peaceful place to stay

We had such an amazing get away, it was so relaxing and felt like home. Paul was super helpful, made us feel comfortable and gave a great recommendation for food. Close enough to get to the Beach and town but far enough to enjoy the quiet and relax!

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

What a quaint shepherds hut. It had everything we needed and more. The decor was lovely and the attention to detail was superb. Even the welcome touches, bread, eggs and milk on arrival. Would highly recommend.

Davids place completely suited our needs - we mostly just needed somewhere to sleep but also wanted a bit of space for relaxing and the ability to make some food. It is very well designed to make maximum use of the space and the kitchen was well equipped. It was all clean, the bed was comfy and we slept really well. Very quiet. It might be a bit tricky to find but the instructions were really good. We almost brought our van and I think that would have been a squeeze to get down the little lane to the airbnb, luckily we brought our car instead!

We had an amazing stay at Piilopirtti log cabin! The cabin was peaceful, private, and perfectly located for walking in Ringwood. The private hot tub was a dream, and the sauna experience that Mark set up made it even more special. Sibylle and Mark were incredible hosts — so welcoming, with great local tips that made our trip even better. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Had such an amazing stay at Sharon’s place! The setting was unreal, no complaints whatsoever. The setting was beautiful, we were lucky with amazing weather so spent our days lounging on the lake decking! The cabin was super clean and beautiful. The hosts were so responsive and accommodating. Would recommend 100%, a truly lovely stay :) thank you again!

My partner and I enjoyed a splendid two-night stay at the Hideaway. The property was impeccably clean, and the hot tub was exceptional. We appreciated the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Annie provided outstanding service and ensured a warm welcome. We look forward to returning.

This Airbnb is the perfect English countryside getaway for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in nature and also be as cozy as humanly possible. Karen and Simon were extremely helpful upon check-in showing us exactly how everything works. from the wood-fired hot tub to the fire pit, they really have thought of everything you would want for a trip like this. it's was also out first time in this part of the country, the whole surrounding area is gorgeous. My partner and I had a fantastic stay in Sheena’s shepherd’s hut. We arrived quite late in the evening but Sheena was super communicative and accommodating and gave very helpful instructions for finding the correct entrance to the property, which were a life saver looking in the dark! The hut is secluded far in the back of the garden with its own driveway entrance so still feels very private. It’s fitted out adorably with everything you could need and we enjoyed using the cosy log burner as well as two spare electric heaters when we wanted to warm up quickly. It was also generously supplied with tea/coffee/milk, biscuits and some kindling for the log burner. The property is a handy 20-30 mins from most tourist locations around Dorset so it was a great base for us to visit Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Seatown/Golden Cap, Weymouth, and even Monkey World :)
