Incredibly comfortable. Beautiful inside and out.

Caitlin and her husband, Peter, are caring, considerate hosts. They made me feel welcome in their beautifully appointed, light-filled home. They were open and friendly, interested in finding out who I was, while being respectful of my privacy. When I explained I didn't like to eat first thing in the morning, they went out of their way to prepare a yummy, healthy "to-go" breakfast I could take with me to the program I was attending. Caitlin even loaned me her favorite travel coffee mug for my tea. I was able to spend my final morning having breakfast with them and they prepared a delightful meal, replete with fresh fruits and flowers from their garden. We sat outside amongst the beautiful plantings and each shared with me a precious piece of their own life story as well as how they met. That's how I discovered what wonderful people they are. I would return there in a heartbeat. Staying at the Sanctuary provided a welcome contrast from the intensity of the program I was attending.

Jim and Michelle were such welcoming and accommodating hosts. Their home is the perfect location tucked away in the countryside. Enjoying coffee and breakfast with Michelle on Sunday and their super friendly dog, Darby, was such a pleasant treat. Would love to come back more and explore the area. One thing to note, if you have Verizon you'll be off the grid here because cell service is sparse - but that's probably the best way to fully immerse yourself in the property and truly enjoy it!

I had a wonderful stay with Jim and Monique! They have a beautiful and comfortable house in a gorgeous setting and are the perfect hosts. My room was spacious and well appointed; loved the barrel ceiling. The bed and linens were very comfortable and I had two great nights of sleep. Monique's breakfasts are truly outstanding and a great start to my day. Most of all, Jim and Monique are lovely people and I enjoyed getting to know them. I will definitely look to stay with them again next time I'm in the area.

Susan is a wonderful host and a very lovely person! We had a very nice time staying at Susan's place! It was very warmly feeling to get a delicious breakfast made by Susan, and we especially loved the apple cobbler made by Susan. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality :). We would love to come to your place again!

We recently enjoyed a lovely stay at The Carriage Barn in Guilford. Our host, Katherine, was very responsive to everything we might have needed during our visit: a very easy check in and out process, detailed instructions on how everything worked, items for our comfort (a gift of delicious chocolates, many fluffy towels, silky sheets, etc.), and was easily available via texting. The photos of her restored historic barn are very accurate - it's a beautifully designed renovation and is decorated with lovely art pieces, cozy furniture, and a huge library of books for your enjoyment. The tv works great and so does the WiFii. We traveled with our small dog and there is a baby gate available that easily snaps onto the staircase posts so I was not concerned about my dog's safety.. Best of all is the beautiful views of the gorgeous Vermont countryside. You'll see lovely sunsets here and spectacular sunrises. It's a great spot to truly relax.

I had a wonderful stay in Carolyn's clean and well-located home. The bedroom was very clean and spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and Carolyn has given thought to all the things that make a stay comfortable. I appreciated that she made up a separate bed for my daughter. Carolyn is a lovely host.

We really enjoyed our visit and the house was welcoming, charming, very clean, and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and flexible about our late arrival time. There was also delicious coffee for us in the morning!

Absolutely perfect and amazingly accommodating. The mansion was actually closed on Thursday as they were preparing for a large event for the weekend but still found a beautiful, private place for me to stay for the couple nights I needed. Diane met me at the door, showed me around the property, and gave me recommendations for local food. She offered her cell number and the promise to help with anything I needed. The grounds are beautiful and located next to a park with walking paths. The room was perfect for what I needed; shower, kitchenette, and really comfortable bed. I will stay again anytime I’m in the area. My since thanks to Diane, Andy, and the beautiful, old New England inn.

The Wilmington Inn is always a favorite place to stay! It's always quiet and so convenient to restaurants and the shops--we'll be back!

We arrived at Maple Hil on a very cold afternoon in NH -- we were met with cozy living spaces warmed by wood stoves, coffee and tea available all day, and our room equipped with electric blankets and a space heater. Dennis fed the fires for us and provided silverware and dishes for our snacks in the living area; he also lent us snow shoes for a trek across the lake. We slept well and were excited to wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking -- as many reviews have said, the breakfast was perfect! We were located close to several ski mountains, a town with shops and restaurants, and Dennis had advice for all of it. This was a wonderful, cozy, perfect stay and we will be back for sure!

A wonderful bed and breakfast with everything one would expect from a classic Vermont BnB! The hosts made me feel welcomed and right at home. I particularly enjoyed the bedroom with a quaint fireplace and a large shower. Several personal touches with a gift bags of hand warmers, tissue, a snack! A great touch. The breakfast which happened to be my favorite dish which is french toast, it was among the best I have ever had. Will be my go-to lodging anytime I am in the the area!

I can’t say enough about the beauty and isolation of this spot. Within a 10 minute drive there are a variety of good restaurants and shops, and Northampton isn’t far. But for walks in the woods, biking or looking at the mountains through the 270 degree window panorama, this spot is extraordinarily spacious and cozy. There are a number of famous rock climbing sites nearby. The bathtub is the largest I’ve used, not a jacuzzi, but bigger than most hotel jacuzzis. Plenty of hot water.

We came to Vermont to look at the beautiful fall colors and for a Vermont experience. Staying in a stately house that originates from the 1700’s gave us both. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs sitting area is elegant with plenty of room to spread out read like a country squire. Mary makes an excellent breakfast and is accommodating about when and what to eat. Be sure to try the apple pancakes. Manchester with all its fine restaurants is 15 minutes away. Otherwise, the Wayside Country store is right down the road. The view out the back of the house is outstanding. We highly recommend this house for a Vermont getaway.

Nice stay at Bromley View Inn! The views were stunning, and the cozy, pet-friendly vibe made us feel right at home. The room was comfy, and we enjoyed relaxing in the lounge. Breakfast was a treat every morning. Enjoyed Fiddlehead IPA at Haig’s Sports Bar and at the 19th hole at Stratton’s Golf Course. Highly recommend this spot for a great location and welcoming stay!

This was my first Airbnb experience. From the very beginning, John and Kathy were excellent hosts. They come across as just genuine and likeable people - it really feels like you’re staying with friends. Not to mention, they are SO kind in opening up their entire (gorgeous) home and property to you. They make it clear that while you’re there you have free range to explore the grounds or utilize the fun on-site things such as the fire pit and relaxing common areas. The breakfast served each morning was so thoughtful and delicious; my husband and I really felt like we were being spoiled!! Speaking of spoiled, idk how I’ll ever be able to have a better Airbnb experience than John and Kathy provided as they really set the bar high. Looking forward to booking our next visit here for sure.

This is an idyllic setting for a beautiful home with super friendly and caring hosts. The large house, a retreat center with facilities for large groups, sits on a lake overlooked by a gorgeous modern treehouse. Tom and Ravi are excellent hosts and I enjoyed chatting and eating with them and learning about their vision for the property, communal and artistic, with nourishing food fresh from local farms, and a mix of interesting guests. This is the kind of place where you can truly unwind in natural green, wander the extensive grounds and connect socially if that suits you. The beds are comfortable, each room with its own bathroom, and the living rooms are spacious and with walls of books and artwork. Cannot recommend this place more highly. If you’re lucky enough to find availability, don’t hesitate!

Josie and Scott are the best. They made me feel very welcomed. Coffee and banana bread plus other goodies were waiting for me in the morning. I will definitely stay there again; I am booked to stay there at the end of May

Windy and Dean were awesome hosts. It is such a blessing for them to share their little slice of heaven with others. The home, location, beautiful landscaping and delicious breakfast makes for a wonderful experience.

We always choose this cozy slice of Madeleine's Vermont for her splendid hospitallity. Always there to greet you with a smile on her face and broom in hand. The quaint stay is perfect for those wanting an authentic Vermont stay. Less than 20 minutes from Rutland and a beautiful sunrise drive for first tracks, its truely an experience and value that is hard to beat.
