12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

You will be staying on an animal sanctuary with a wide range of different animals. You will be given a tour and told all about their stories and how they came to be with us. You can enjoy our picnic area where you can enjoy brunch, our home made pizza nights and barbeques made on our double decker bus cafe. (Please advise us in advance if you would like food provided). As well as access to our firepit ( firewood provided at an additional small fee).
