Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

The Cabin

The Cabin is situated in a private and tranquil setting offering an opportunity for guests to unwind and relax. Surrounded by mature trees, gardens and green fields, this rural retreat also offers an abundance of local wildlife to enjoy. It is a modern log cabin with secure private parking which is based in the grounds of our home. Home from home spacious detatched property set 30 yards to rear of main house totally private. Next to 9 hole golf course, convenience store, off Licence and Pizza/chip shop. Excellent bus service on doorstop. 2 mins to M1 motorway 10 mins to city centre. Kitchen well equipped with pots pans, crockery, glasses and utensils etc. Salt, pepper, oil, tea/coffee sugar all supplied. Bathroom features electric shower, towels, shampoo/conditioner & shower gel. Bedroom has King size bed.

Lovely 1-Bedroom Modern Apt with secure parking

Our 1 bedroom, self contained apartment is on site at our newly built home. We have free, secure parking outside the apartment. It is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay, including cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, hoover, hair dryer, iron, extra bed sheets, towels, blankets and pillows. There will be some toiletries and condiments for your use. We are based just outside of Lisburn on a 1 acre site surrounded by fields, the area is extremely peaceful.

Our traditional Historic barn has been lovingly restored to offer guests a unique experience in an idillic country location. Nestled within the Dromara hills,you can enjoy the stunning views while you relax and unwind in our private hot tub. Explore the area on foot or bike, squat through the weekend at T3 gym onsite or bring your rod for a spot of fishing on the River Lagan. If you're feeling more adventurous there are countless top NI attractions within a 30 min drive.

Just outside Hillsborough (2 miles) enjoy the peace of the countryside whilst not being too far from the sights. (Belfast 30 mins, Dublin 1hr 30mins, North Coast, Giants Causeway, 1hr 30mins). Larchfield Estate, wedding venue, 5 minutes drive away. You have complete privacy from us but if you need any advice while here we are just across the yard.
