Welcome our tranquil home in Plymouth. Our house is a restored gold rush era bunk house in the foothills with central air and heat! Every detail and modern convenience has been added while repurposing the historic parts of the property. A one-of-a-kind adventure awaits. House and grounds-within walking distance to 5-star dining and a 10 minute drive to 50+ wineries and shopping. We have over an acre in town with Bocci and games galore. Our license allows six guests, thus we must be firm on that.

Captains Cottage of Ione Centrally located 4 beds

Captain’s Cottage is a 3 bedroom one bathroom furnished cottage located in a quiet and peaceful residential area in Ione. A few blocks away (3 minute walk) is the town of Ione. It features a laundromat, general store, pizza , brewery, coffee shop, and restaurants. Locally we have wineries, flowerfarm,caves,gold mining, theater,antiques fishing & boating. Nearby is Plymouth, Jackson, and Sutter Creek . Our own captain loves Lake Amador, Lake Pardee and Lake Camanche all located here in Ione.

Peaceful Cottage - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

Our comfortable and quiet guest cottage is set among Ponderosa pines in the Sierra Nevada foothills, 15 minutes from more than 40 Shenandoah Valley wineries. Private tastings can be arranged. The pool is private to our guests and usually open after Memorial Day. About 50 mins to ski areas. The Cottage easily accommodates 2 couples in two bedrooms, each with private bathroom. EV charging is available - additional fee. The deck is great for outside dining or just enjoying a glass of wine.

The spacious living and dining rooms are perfect for entertaining; the smart black and white kitchen is fully appointed; and a private deck overlooks the meandering creek. Additional amenities include a laundry room, two full baths and three stylish bedrooms, which comfortably accommodate six guests.

This is a unique opportunity to stay in an all wood log cabin! Built in 1940, our cabin is the perfect tranquil escape. Connect with the outdoors while still enjoying modern updates and amenities to keep you comfortable. There is a beautiful year round creek that runs threw the property. Fun is just minutes away with Jackson Rancheria, Plymouth wineries, swimming creeks, lakes, amazing cave tours, skiing, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and so much more. Hot tub can be hot or cold!

Relax and Unwind in Wine Country! Your home-away-from-home is just steps away from OldHwy49 shops, restaurants and wine tasting. Tour over 40 Amador County wineries, historic sites, lakes and trails nearby. Then come home to your old fashioned front porch, relaxing back patio, and large kitchen to enjoy cooking together. I’m sorry but we cannot accommodate work crews due to our rental policies. I wish we had a second house on Airbnb that was tough as a bunkhouse so we could!
