Taylor Swift stayed with us while enjoying a low key visit to Dublin. We were delighted to have her at our home and equally thrilled she managed to avoid the attention of the media.

It is within 200m of Sandymount strand, 100m of Sydney Parade DART station, 10 mins from city centre, 5 mins from RDS & Aviva, Aircoach 701 stops at St Vincents Hospital on Merrion Road. This stop is a 12minute walk to the room. For the tired traveler you'll be right at home in this very quite residential location, that, complemented by black-out blinds will ensure a great night's sleep.

Dun Laoighre is 15 mins walk to its marina and many sailing clubs. 3 mins walk to the Dart station to access Dublin city centre with its famous museums and art galleries or a use a public bus number 4, 7, 7A.

Charming seaside house, bright and cheerful, two bedrooms, recently refurbished. Our house is moments from the sea, a 10-minute walk to the Forty Foot sea bathing spot and James Joyce Martello tower. We're near Dun Laoghaire pier, great for eating Teddy’s ice creams! The nearby People’s Park has a farmer’s market. Great transport links so no need for a car. On the border of Glasthule and Sandycove, near the DART train line and with the Aircoach airport coach a few minutes' walk away.

The front rooms overlook Sandymount Strand, a place made famous by James Joyce and Seamus Heaney. Sandymount village is charming with a central Green surrounded by a choice of interesting shops and restaurants. There is excellent public transport by train or bus, and parking on site. The apartment is 15 minutes from the city centre.

Howth Cliff Walk Cabin

Chill out or go for beautiful cliff walks and discover Howth from this airy log cabin nestled among nature. The wild meadow behind the cabin leads to the Howth cliff path, perfect for hiking or strolling to Howth village or Howth Summit. There are several small swimming coves within walking distance. The cabin is at the back of my house but completely separate with its own entrance and lockbox. Lovely and peaceful!
