The Peacock house is a comfortable studio apartment designed for a single person or two adults. It's a self contained extension attached to the owner's house with its own main door in a quiet residential area over looking Arthur Seat. It’s a short walking distance to the lovely Prestonfield Hotel and to Arthur seat and a pleasant walk to the centre if you can walk for 30 minutes easily. There are plenty buses at the end of the street to the centre. Please note that a 5% tourist tax applies now.

Portobello Beach is 15 minute walk away which is a must see especially with kids they will love it in all weathers. Buses (every 10 minutes) stop at end of the street to city centre which takes about 15/20 minutes. Co-op, post office, and various takeaways at end of street. Travel cot available if needed NO parties we will be contacted to deal with any noise at the property as we only live a few minutes away. Ring doorbell has been set up to monitor this.

Quite and safe neighbourhood, close to portobello beach and foot of aurter seat and close to city centre. 10 mintues to auther seat close to holylrood palace.
