Leeanne and Warren were terrific hosts. The accommodation was perfect for our stay in Dunedin. Very quiet and beautifully positioned on the peninsula. Waking up to sheep on the rolling green hills is a special memory. The cottage is warm, spotless and cozy with everything you need. Thank you for a relaxing stay and for our delicious evening meal. We stayed in the Merino Room which was comfortable and quiet.

We stayed three nights with two infants, and with such a well-equipped family-friendly place (heatpump, full kitchen, washing machine/drier, spacious), we would have been quite comfortable staying longer. Beautiful area in the bush but so close to town. Loved the birdsong.

Quaint, beautiful surroundings. We only had one night there so it was very quick. They had everything we needed! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wir haben uns gleich super wohl gefühlt. Kleine, aber feine Unterkunft. Wir haben gleich am Bootshaus geparkt und sind dann zu Fuß zum Appartement gelaufen. Für gehbehinderte Menschen könnte das etwas schwer sein. Das Appartement ist ruhig und hat eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Für die Erkundung der Otago-Halbinsel der perfekte Ort.

This is a great place to stay near the university! While small and cozy it was a great place to call home for several weeks. Chris was incredibly accommodating and flexible. Would recommend anyone to looking to stay in the Dunedin area!

Mein Aufenthalt bei Sandra und Dieter war einfach toll. Ich wurde bei der Ankunft super herzlich und liebevoll von Sandra empfangen und rumgeführt, habe direkt wertvolle Tipps für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in der Umgebung bekommen. Der Ort ist einfach zauberhaft idyllisch, genau das richtige für ein paar Tage Entspannung und Ausflüge in die Natur und bietet alles was man sich nur wünschen kann. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

I had the best time staying at Frances’s cottage for a week while visiting a friend nearby. Felt completely relaxed, private and rejuvenated here. I loved how spotlessly clean the entire property is. It’s like no one’s ever been here before. Loved the paddock adjacent to the house where a horse was kept and so many wild rabbits about so I could enjoy the view of nature going by during the morning coffees. The bathroom was immaculate and large, and the floor heating was a luxurious touch. Loved that all household products are eco-friendly including trash bags. There’s a desk with office chair to work from and laundry trough for light hand washing. I really enjoyed being away from the main town for a peaceful surrounding during my stay yet still convenient for groceries shopping only a few mins drive away to Mosgiel. I felt right at home the moment I walked in. Thank you Frances so much for your hospitality. So happy she popped over with her cat too since I asked if she had one. Love!

We had a wonderful stay at Brendan’s lovely cottage – it had everything we needed, and the lake view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. We even caught a beautiful sunrise on our last morning. Highly recommended!

This was a last minute stay after our accommodation let us down at the last minute. The hosts could not have been more helpful or responded more quickly. The space is smallish but well thought out and the bathroom is large. Great shower though takes a while to heat up. Great views and privacy yet an easy hop to town. No cooker or hob but there is a microwave - meant we had to rethink our meal plan haha! Loved all the scenery and activities on the peninsula. This is a fab place to stay for a few days.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The room is modern and the view is lovely. It is located already on the Otago Peninsular so easy to reach Larnach Castle and the Royal Albatros Sanctury. At the same time, the bus stop to go downtown is just 2 minutes away.

Mel’s place was great! Beautiful, clean, and so comfortable. I mostly communicated with a co-host, Kerri, and she was absolutely lovely. We arrived in the city in the evening and it was all very last minute. Kerri was quick to respond to my inquiries. Very kind and patient. The space is gorgeous and well equipped. Lovely view. Furnishings are very comfortable and the sheets and towels quite nice. Highly recommend!
