It’s hard to accurately describe how wonderful Jill’s place is and what a perfect host she is. It’s a gem. Anyone who has the opportunity to rent it, should right away. The place is beautiful, and she’s thought of every detail — large and small. She checks in to make sure you have everything you need — but she respects your privacy at all times. The view and garden are even more beautiful than the photos show. It’s away from the hustle and bustle but just a 10 minute drive to great restaurants. There is a market and cafe walking distance down the hill. If I ever find myself in this part of the world again, I hope to be lucky enough to stay at Jill’s guest suite again. Wish I could give more than five stars.

Beautiful little place with the perfect view. Catherine was such a friendly host and made the whole check-in experience seamless. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay at Dunedin.

We arrived at night and were thankful to find the driveway had security lighting so we could see where we were going! Room was warm, comfortable and exactly as advertised. Caroline is a wonderful communicator and the location felt safe. Couldnt have asked for more.

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

Blimeys was the perfect escape, the weather was moody but it just added to the atmosphere! The cooking facilities were fantastic! Loved everything about this stay especially our friends the sheep 🐑 Thanks for having us

This is such an awesome spot. It feels very secluded but is very easy to get to and is close to lots of other awesome spots. Waking up to the view and birdsongs is such a treat. Definitely recommended and you have to give the outdoor bath a go - well worth the effort!

Was für eine Unterkunft!!! Die Übernachtung bei Kerry ist was ganz besonderes. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Es wurde sogar die Deutschland-Flagge zur Ankunft gehisst. Einmalig. Die Bilder zeigen gut, was einen erwartet. Genau so ist es dann auch. Wer bunt mag, ist hier richtig.

The place was beautiful and modern. It was a little bit cold when we arrived but as it has a heater it got warm quickly. The parking lot is a little bit tight if you have a big car, but everything else was absolutely amazing. I will stay again without thinking it twice.

Great place to stay for a group with a beautiful outlook and lots of space. Check in and out smooth and easy, host was very responsive
